We have now used Upmarket Homes for three renovations of our home, the first being in the year 2000, and the most recent has just been completed in January 2026. We keep going back to them because we always end up with a quality product. They are committed to ensuring that the outcome of each renovation has met the highest standard and we have been delighted with the result each time. They have a wide range of subcontractors who they have worked with for a long time, and have maintained good relationships with them all. All staff and tradies were generally respectful of our property and us. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Mark and his team at UpMarket were fantastic from start to finish. We thoroughly tested the market as our house re-build was always going to be difficult. But, UpMarket didn't see issues, only creative challenges and opportunities to invent and create. UpMarket ensured that we were kept informed and included throughout and sure they would meet and often exceed our expectations. We contracted Upmarket Homes to build our 'Forever Home' after a free consultation with Mark and his team to review our draft plans and ideas. The team where fantastic and upon review gave us a free buildability assessment and offered to redraft a plan that delivered design concepts we wanted in a way that was consistent with good building management practices and practical from a cost benefit POV. The commercial negotiations went really smoothly with a plain, easily readable contract that provided clarity on costs, time and assumptions for both parties. The build was on time and within budget tolerances (given we changed some materials that increased costs and could have caused delays) which was fantastic. The build quality is top tier and the team went the extra mile to add great finishing touches such as re use of antic woods in some features etc. When we had late design changes the team worked it into he schedule so that effort was redirected and overall duration of project and associated project management costs did not blow out. Each payment was linked to a Project Milestone that was associated with the value of the works delivered which gave us confidence in the building team and the business itself. As with any project the time we spent up front establishing what we wanted and understanding what it would cost meant there was very little tension during the build. If I decided to build another home I would not go to market I would call Mark and get his team back.
