Patio Living

Patio Living helped us turn our dream into reality! We were keen to build a patio on to our home and had a very clear idea of what we wanted. In particular we wanted it to look as though it was part of the original build and fully integrated into the existing structure. We commenced early discussions with Nick in November last year and after extensive dialogue as well as speaking to other builders we decided to go ahead with Patio Living. Nick was always very responsive to all my detailed questions pre-contract and we decided to sign the contract in February this year. The whole process with council approval was handled by PL and the build commenced in May soon after the COVID lockdown was easing up. Despite all the external uncertainty we were always kept fully informed about the work that was planned by each of the trades and when they would be on site. This was particularly important as our whole family was home during the build. All through the the build the attention to detail and consultation was outstanding. As I was working from home, Peter the site manager, was always available and welcoming to discuss how things were progressing. Peter even suggested small improvements to the original plan which were executed without cost or at minor cost. Just as PL were about to commence lining the cedar ceiling, work had to stop until we had our bi-fold doors installed (which were being organised by us) and this was a four week wait. Patio Living were extremely accommodating and helpful right throughout by pulling their trades off the job until we had our doors ready so the ceiling wouldn’t be damaged. The final outcome for us far exceeds the vision we had for our patio. The entire process was a very positive experience and I can’t recommend Patio Living enough! Beautiful workmanship and an easy process from start to finish. Nick, Gary and the team were very helpful, answering any questions we had as well as keeping us updated with the progress. We have had numerous trades come through commenting how well built our carport is. Would recommend and use again.

Covid-19 has had one positive for us - a new patio in lieu of our annual European holiday !. We now have a magnificent 9M x 4M patio. We still find it hard to believe that one man (Dan) installed the whole patio by himself. The workmanship & finish (Greg the painter) are faultless and we are delighted with the end result. All the Patio Living staff were top class and the whole installation went very smoothly. We highly recommend Patio Living, if you're looking for a timber patio.

Patio Living just complete a stunning pergola for our rear courtyard in South Perth. Great ideas from Nick, brilliant supervision by Peter, office backup by Stacey and skilled installation work by Adrian / Adam. We particularly like the aesthetics, and zero maintenance, of the powder coated frame, and wood look aluminium slats. We would have no hesitation in recommending Patio Living for any future work.

To Nick who showed me an area of wasted space that could be taken up by my new deck thank you. To Peter the construction manager who handled the installation in such a timely and efficient manner, always kept me informed. For waiting months until I finished the landing and being so patient with my delays. To the trades that did the work thank you they were very efficient and professional. Even my own builder that did other work work on the property commented that he hadn't seen carpentry work like that for a while, he was impressed. The deck looks great and all my friends have said what value it has added to the property. Sometimes you pick a company to do work at your property and when they finish you think how lucky was I to get a company that takes pride in their work still. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Yes you may get it a little bit cheaper but do you want the hassle of a poor job and then getting someone else to fix it.

Nick has been absolutely fantastic to deal with-friendly, reliable, and always willing to go extra mile to help us. He kept us updated, shared honest advice, and even followed up with other contacts to try and find solutions for us. it is rare to come across someone so genuine and supportive. We are grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for top service and beautiful products.
