Alfresco Decks

We reached out to Dorian almost a year ago and he completed our deck just prior to Christmas. His communication skills are top notch, as was the quality of the final built outcome. For a successful project; time, cost and quality are the most important factors. Typically you would be lucky to get 2 out of the 3. With Dorian and his team, we got all 3. Would highly recommend. As a last statement and one that shows his character: on the final day of the build, I returned home and pointed out a minor issue that would require some extensive rework to fix. Dorian took the feedback graciously, and the deck was fixed quicker than I could believe. Top notch building. Photos attached. We had such a great experience with our recent deck installation. The price was the best out of many quotes and it didn't compromise the quality of the job. Dorian was meticulous with his details and gave us a beautiful deck ready for the summer time. He was able to troubleshoot some challenges along the way and we appreciated everything he did. Dorian from Alfresco Decks was an absolute standout from the very start. Out of all the companies I contacted, he was the only one who actually came out to look at the space before quoting. And honestly, that level of care gave us so much confidence. No mystery costs, no “surprise! your deck is actually $5k more,” just a proper understanding of the job and a realistic price from the get-go. His communication throughout was excellent, even when a couple of unforeseeable delays popped up. He kept us in the loop the whole way, which is all anyone really wants when they’ve got half a backyard pulled apart. He was also incredibly friendly and patient, especially with our dogs who responded to his presence with… let’s call it enthusiastic protest. He never made us feel like they were a nuisance, even though they definitely were. 🙃 Throughout the build, Dorian offered thoughtful recommendations that genuinely improved the final result. And speaking of the final result: the deck is fantastic. We knew it would be good, but it’s turned out even better than we imagined: beautifully finished, solid, and clearly built by someone who takes real pride in their work. Would recommend Alfresco Decks in a heartbeat. If you want someone reliable, communicative, and genuinely good at what they do, Dorian’s your guy.

The whole experience from start to completion was smooth and efficient. Dorian fitted my deck in before Christmas, and completed the job in 2 days. As I sat down siping champagne on Christmas Day with my family, I raised a glass as I admired my new deck!

Dorian is an absolute master of his craft, and a gentleman to boot. He explained everything clearly, around the product, the structure and the design. He set the expectations at every step and delivered a project that we are super pleased with decking both our front porch and patio.
