I decided to extend the roof over our al fresco area and after extensive research on the internet I opted for the Smartkits DIY system as I had intended to carry out the works myself. However, once I received the kit, I quickly realised that the installation would need professional input. Smartkits referred me to QHI, the in-house building company, that could do the job quick smart. Scott Challen contacted me within the hour to confirm the quote and timeline, which I was more than happy to accept. His team of three arrived the very next morning and completed the job within the day as promised, in a very efficient, neat, friendly and professional manner. It was a pleasure dealing with QHI and I would certainly recommend QHI for similar projects!

We’ve had 2 projects completed with Smartkits and QHI did the installation and we couldn’t be happier. The first was a tall flyover insulated roof which has turned out amazingly and the second a carport. Their advise and assistance with engineering drawings and council approval has been first rate. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

We bought a 20x8x3.6 shed kit from Ezyblox and had QHI build it. We live in Plainland and the improvement/value added to our property is huge. Two Builders, David and Steve transferred the delivered materials to the new front deck with stairs to the front door (Which the house never had a front door access). The two men started at 7am each day and completed the build on time within 6 days. The harmony between the two men was so smooth they seemed to know what each other needed. Prempting each other's needs which sped up the construction. Their accuracy during the build elimated unnecessary waste. Both men spent a week away from their families in Brisbane produced the new front deck in Gladstone. QHI finished a very large covered deck for us in December. We were very happy with the whole process- from the initial design through to the completion of the project. The work was completed within the quoted time and at the quoted cost - no price variations or hidden extras! Scott and Ricky were great through the whole process, with excellent communication. We were demanding customers, but they went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the final product. The trades were great and they cleaned up after themselves every day and respected the property. We highly recommend them.
