I was after a quality solar system not one of those cheap TV deals, I come across Troy at Seven Electrical who deals with Enphase, we discussed my budget and needs then designed a system to fit both budget and usage but also the ability to add more panels easily later on if I wanted too. In the end we went for a 3 phase 9kw Enphase micro inverter system with full remote monitoring via the Enphase app! No big bulky inverted on side of the house. Highly recommend Troy and his employees if looking for a quality solar system or any other type of electrical work.

We were under going renovations & wanted to replace our roof plus go 3 phase, we had over head single phase power unfortunately. After asking around we got a recommendation on Seven Electrical & Communications to do a under down power , private pole new with sub board & 3 phase conversion allowing us to have a massive ducted AC & 3 phase to the shed, the guys completed it in no time, no fuss & very neat. Happily recommend.

Troy was the 3rd quote for installation of solar to my house, you could tell straight away that he was upfront and explained everything. Turned up with his crew, did the job, cleaned up and then spent time with me explaining how to use and read the system through my phone. Would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
