We had asked 3 companies to give us a quote for pouring a slab for our new shed in Geelong. Kurt from Cureconc was the only company to provide us with a quote in a timely manner. We ended up using the company and are very glad we did so. They prepped our backyard and removed the existing concrete we had from our old garden shed. They liaised with plumbers to sort out everything we needed. We will definitely be getting them back to re do our crossover. Very happy with our slab! Attached is a before and after photo.

Kurt was exceptionally responsive, friendly and punctual. I obtained 4 quotes for driveway curb side repairs from other companies and he was $1000 cheaper than 2 others and $1300 cheaper than another. He liaised with council to get the required permit & inspection in a timely manner and the end result was top quality. Would highly recommend!

Cure Conc only had to do a small job for me the other day although the quality was excellent. I would use Cure Conc again and would recommend to all my neighbours.

Frequently asked questions

How much do concreters typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on the type of job, its size, site access and whether demolition or disposal is required. This page shows live pricing for your area; most concreters typically combine a call-out fee with an hourly labour rate plus materials, and after-hours work usually attracts higher rates.
Do concreters charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and usually cover travel and the initial assessment. That fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials, and you may see higher charges for after-hours or emergency attendance.
Do concreters need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Concreting for residential building work generally requires a licensed contractor across Australian states and territories; in NSW licences are issued by the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). You should expect providers to display a valid state contractor licence, an ABN with active GST registration and evidence of public liability insurance.
How do I get a quote from Cure Conc Concrete Services?
Cure Conc Concrete Services lists phone on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
