We employed Nolan to undertake a range of renovation activities on our home, on and off, over a period of several months. As with many older homes, there were many unforeseen setbacks and hurdles. The renovation could have been very stressful, but it rarely was.. At all times, we found Nolan to be professional, hard-working, flexible, cheerful. positive, punctual, reliable, and honest. No request was ever too much trouble. We are delighted with the final result, and recommend Nolan very highly.

Originally found Nolan (Badger Carpentry) through his Google reviews, so I will continue the review chain. Nolan and his team took on the restoration of our 100-year-old cottage in Woodend, Ipswich, and the results were outstanding. The project involved significant structural repairs, building an enclosed laundry, re-sheeting the exterior back of the home, and completely redoing the front and rear verandah, amongst other improvements. From start to finish, Nolan demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. His ability to preserve the cottage’s historic charm while ensuring modern functionality was impressive. The structural work was meticulous, addressing decades of wear to create a solid foundation. The new laundry is both practical and seamlessly integrated, and the re-sheeted exterior and revamped verandah have transformed the home’s appearance while maintaining its character. Nolan was professional, communicative, and respectful of our timeline and budget. The quality of his work has breathed new life into our century-old cottage, and we couldn’t be happier. Honestly, I can’t praise Nolan and Sarah enough. Impeccable service. Not only did Nolan keep me fully informed leading up to the date we’d booked for our job, but he let me know every day he when he was on his way to my home. They were always on time. They cleaned up thoroughly after every day, and the carpentry is brilliant. So much care and thought went into the job. I always felt like I was kept informed of what stage they were at. I always felt listened to and supported. The walkway, awning and shading they did for one end of my house and the stairs and retaining wall they did for the other is outstanding. Thank you to Nolan and Sarah for their efforts throughout our bathroom renovations. Throughout the whole process they were professional and knowledgeable. They had excellent communication and always tidied away any mess made from the renovations each day.
