James from Custom Carpentry did a great job for us. The first job was removing a wall, installing the kitchen cabinets and redoing the floor. His work ethic and attention to detail really stood out — he took his time to get everything right and the finish was excellent. We were so happy with the result that we got him back to install a skylight, and it turned out fantastic. It’s completely transformed the space and the workmanship is spot on. Easy to deal with, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. Would definitely recommend James to anyone looking for a quality carpenter.

James did an incredible job building a deck for one of our 8m Yurts. It's an unusual design trying to build a round structure whilst keeping parallel joists and bearers. On an elevated block too. This involved plenty of angled cuts and thinking outside the box. Brilliant job all round and looking forward to working with him on future builds!

James made some great shelving for my therapy space. He used recycled wood and created a beautiful rustic finish. He also created a sand tray box for use with my clients. I am very grateful for his expertise and professionalism.

James built us an extension to our studio using reclaimed wood and corrugated iron. Finished job neatly with care taken to ensure the wood and iron had smooth neat edges. Loved the finished product. Is creative and has a can do attitude !
