We couldn't be more thrilled with our new cabinetry from MDC Furniture Design. From our first consultation, through to design, installation and the finishing touches, it is clear that Michael cares about even the smallest details. Plus, he was excellent with communication, clear about pricing, and fast without rushing! Michael gave thoughtful suggestions and incorporated our requests into the designs, and the final result is fantastic!

Michael form MDC Furniture Design, is amazing! His work is of an extremely high standard and he is not only professional, but very friendly. No request is too much trouble, and he is always willing to discuss a better option if necessary. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a cabinet maker.

This is a very big wrap and thank you to Michael of MDC kitchens. We started renovations and experienced all the delays you could think of. Throughout Michael stayed in touch and kept checking in on us to see how we were going. In all honesty given the delays if I was Michael it would have been a lot easier to move onto something else and expect us to wait when we were finally in a position to install the kitchen. Michael was very understanding, genuine and patient. When we thought we were right to go Michael was straight around to remeasure liaise with the other trades again to make sure where things were going and ensure all was going to fit perfectly. Michael had the kitchen built quickly and yet again we were unfortunately delayed with another trade for the building. Michael then had to move the kitchen he had built to another warehouse to store but still rather than getting annoyed (which he was entitled to do given the delay at our end again) he was an absolute gentlemen and very understanding. The moment we were ready for the kitchen he arrived and had the kitchen installed in 2 days. I had the pleasure of labouring for Michael to assist with some lifting and got to watch his professionalism and meticulous attention to detail first hand. It was an absolute pleasure to watch and the proof as they say is in the pudding. He built the perfect kitchen and laundry for us which is finished to perfection. So good was his work we got him to build a TV unit for us which he tailored to our every need as well. We could not recommend him more highly. His work is perfection, his communication is brilliant, he is a very nice guy, very reasonably priced and an absolute professional which is a rare diamond to find amongst trades these days. I can't recommend Michael highly enough. A testament to the quality of his work is that our home was featured on a television real estate show. One of the main reasons our home was chosen to be part of that show was due to the amazing joinery that Michael produced and installed. He rose to the design challenges we set him with gusto and absolute professionalism, and produced pieces that are loved even today (I get calls from the person who purchased our home and inherited the pieces Michael produced for us, where she conveys the delight she gets every day from living among the beautiful pieces he produced). He has since produced works for many colleagues and friends, and each of them has expressed deep satisfaction with his professionalism, ethos and workmanship.

Michael was so easy to deal with and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was punctual and organised and presented creative options for us to work with. Love all the joinery in our new home, his follow up service has been great too - shows he really cares even after the jobs done, would highly recommend Michael to everyone.

We commissioned MDC to build our kitchen independently of our builder because the builder’s nominated joiner did not give us the confidence they were going to deliver a great result. This turned out to be the right move. As a museum designer I have fairly exacting standards about detail resolution, quality and craftsmanship. Michael was professional, made sure every detail was finalised and agreed, and site measured everything multiple times to ensure the joinery fitted perfectly. The kitchen was finished about 5 years ago and it still looks and performs like it’s brand new. We could not recommend MDC highly enough.
