  Mike (Damp Detective) was incredibly helpful - absolutely worthwhile having someone with his expertise inspect the property and run tests. He was able to build a clear theory of what was going on and give us the big picture along with practical strategies for fixing the issues before we consulted with plumbers. I'd really recommend to properly figure out damp and drainage problems, he's excellent at it.

  Michael came to assess a mould issue at my rental property and was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He carried out a really thorough examination of the property, testing wall humidity and explaining everything in clear, understandable terms. I even got a mini lesson about water movements through walls! He gave me some practical, realistic solutions that I can start with (core holes, improved ventilation etc) and hopefully control things moving forward. He's really genuine guy who knows inner melb properties well; and is familiar with the types of issues that happen to homes in my area of Carlton North. 6 out of 5 stars! :)

  I never got around to reviewing Michael's service earlier but it's first class. He came to my house and gave an extensive run down of the sub-floor issues, and took the time to explain things to a layman. His recommendations were very useful, and he put me in touch with other useful experts (e.g. a soil engineer to ensure rectification works took into account the topology of the area). I would call Michael without hesitation if I needed again.
