Adam from Peninsula Swim Safe is as professional as you can get. I’ve heard some horror stories about other pool fence compliance inspectors. Adam was easy to contact, communicated clearly via mobile calls, sms, and follow up emails. He delivered on his commitment to inspect, provided comprehensive follow up reporting and issued a certificate of compliance on the same day. If you’re looking for a genuine outfit with up front information, honest commitment and no nasty surprises, Peninsula Swim Safe is the way to go. I recommend Peninsula Swim Safe 100% Thanks Adam, keep up the great work!

A friendly, reliable, professional service. Adam made the anticipation of a daunting swimming pool compliance inspection seem less onerous and intimidating. His knowledge and straightforward instructions and explanations made it clear to us what had to be done and how we were to execute the adjustments in order to comply. We would highly recommend his excellent service to anyone needing an inspection or advice about the new regulations.

Very pleased with the service we received from Adam. Easy to contact via website - with a follow up phone call to arrange inspection time. Promptly arrived on time, friendly and professional service. Received my report the same day, price was competitive. Says Morning Peninsula but we are in Mordialloc and Adam happy to travel to here. Would use Adam again and recommend to friends with pools and Spas. Thanks for a great no fuss service.

Frequently asked questions

How much do building inspectors typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the type of inspection, property size, report detail and travel required. Many building inspectors charge an hourly rate plus a call-out fee, with higher rates for after-hours attendance. This page shows live pricing to help you compare quotes.
Do building inspectors charge call-out fees?
Yes — many building inspectors charge a call-out fee to attend and assess a property. That fee typically covers travel and the initial assessment and is separate from the hourly rate and any report costs. It's sensible to confirm any call-out or minimum charges when requesting quotes.
Do building inspectors need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Building inspection and certifying work generally needs to be carried out by a licensed or registered building inspector or certifier under state and territory rules. In New South Wales the responsible authority is the NSW Building Commission (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for providers who display valid state registration, an ABN with GST registration and appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
How do I get a quote from Peninsula Swim Safe?
