I recently had the pleasure of working with Charlie from Jim Building and Pest, and I can't speak highly enough of his expertise and professionalism. Charlie was not only thorough but also incredibly detail-oriented in his approach. Having faced numerous issues with my builder and their contractors, I sought Charlie's assistance for a consulting job the second time after he did my building report. His insights were invaluable and gave me peace of mind. During the consultation, he meticulously confirmed what work had been completed and highlighted areas that had been neglected. His attention to detail ensured that nothing was overlooked, which is crucial in a situation like mine. What impressed me most was Charlie's ability to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. He took the time to walk me through the issues and offered practical solutions, making it clear that my concerns were a priority for him. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their clients and goes the extra mile to ensure they're satisfied. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlie for anyone in need of building and pest consulting services. His expertise has made a significant difference in my issues, and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again in the future. Thank you, Charlie, for your exceptional service and support!

Charlie had great communication and reported detailed findings. As a first home buyer I found it especially helpful that he was happy to go through the report with me on the phone!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Charlie for two staged inspections during my house extension project. Charlie went above and beyond in his work, dedicating a significant amount of unpaid time both on-site and over the phone. His guidance and expertise gave me the confidence to handle issues with a less-than-reliable builder effectively. The reports Charlie provided were exceptionally detailed, covering all aspects of the inspections thoroughly. His professionalism and dedication to his work are truly commendable. I highly recommend Charlie for anyone in need of a building inspection.

Charlie is definitely the inspector to go to when pre-purchase house inspection is needed. Not only the report was prepared in great detail, Charlie also answered my phone next day and explained to me what those defects mean, which helped me in setting my budget before going into the auction. Unfortunately I didn't win the auction but I suspect if the winner had the same level of details regarding the house and would have been more conservative.
