We had a fabulous experience with Darren & his team. DSL recently completed a partial demolition and rebuild of our 1920 house. We lived in the remaining half-house during the build and were really impressed with how considerate and friendly all the tradespeople were. The thing we are most pleased with is the quality of the finish on the extension as a whole. All the little details that we wanted turned out better than expected. DSL also made numerous recommendations throughout the process that we hadn't even considered, but which really added to the finished product. We have and will continue to recommend DSL to anyone considering a building project. Oh yes, and we came in under budget despite adding a lot to the scope during the process! Thanks Darren! Update 2021; DSL recently completed a second project for us; the addition of a second office at the rear of our property. The new space makes use of an un-used outdoor area and matches perfectly with the office that was already there. DSL also renovated the powder room between the two offices. Despite the challenges of trade availability, post COVID, Darren and team got the job done quickly, cleanly and with very minimal disruption for us - amazing, when you have a building site in your garden! We are stoked with the result. Thanks again Darren & team!

We recently contracted Darren to build our solar passive house and had an excellent experience, we have been delighted with the process and the outcome. Darren has excellent communication skills, is highly organised, and is trustworthy. We were impressed by his attention to detail and the high standard of craftmanship from both himself and his team of trades. Darren delivered our house on schedule and on budget despite the challenges of building during the onset of COVID-19. When decisions needed to be made, Darren listened and considered our preferences and was able to provided us with opinions based on his substantial professional experience and eye for design. There were several moments during the build where Darren made design suggestions which greatly improved the final result! Darren was always friendly and patient with us and our future neighbours. We have no hesitations recommending Darren to others looking to build or renovate.

Thank you to Darren and his team for the fantastic renovations they did. Darren was extremely professional and wonderful throughout the whole process. I hired DSL for a complete home renovation, walls were taken out, doors ways were enlarged, floors ripped up. Budget meant we had to remain in the house and the work had to be done in stages. Darren was very patient when things got changed and mindful of my budget restraints. All his trades were friendly, helpful, efficient and tidy. The finished project is exactly as I had hope, I am very happy with the service I received and would highly recommend using DSL. Thanks so much Darren.
