James came highly recommended and after speaking with a number of his very happy former clients, I went ahead with Two Hands to knock down and rebuild my home he came in on budget and I was able to move in before my rental expired!   We had the pleasure of working with James at Two Hands Constructions on a series of renovations and new builds at our home (originally built around 1939). The scope included full bathroom refurbishments, a new laundry, construction of an external office and living space, and a new deck overlooking the pool (with under-deck storage). From the start, James was professional, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with. He was realistic about time and budget constraints, and when unexpected issues came up (as they inevitably do in a house this old), he handled them without drama and kept us well informed. The workmanship is excellent. Every space feels thoughtfully executed, and nothing feels “patched.” He was flexible with our evolving ideas, responsive to questions, and always respectful of our property and also ensuring he reduced any potential impact on our neighbours. If you’re looking for someone who combines technical skill, trustworthiness, and good judgement - someone who keeps to their promises and treats your home with care - we would strongly recommend James/ Two Hands Construction.

  James and his team of trades came highly recommended to us when we were wanting to update a few things to sell our family home. James was more than a builder, he was a visionary. He came up with a concept that was exciting but we couldn't imagine it coming to life. We were blown away by the results. Three new bathrooms, our dream walk in robe, a new laundry and an undercover entertaining area near our pool. We were sad to sell in the end. Highly recommend this business. Quality, communication and professionalism are second to none.
