  We engaged The Builders Project to help us with our renovation and couldn’t be more delighted. From the initial consultation, they listened to what we wanted to achieve and worked to deliver that vision pragmatically. Throughout the process, the whole team were a dream to work with, the workmanship was of excellent quality and the whole renovation completed in a timely manner. If we ever needed to renovate another place, Miguel and Kristina would be our first and only stop.

  Lockdowns and supply chain issues in a global pandemic seemed an inauspicious start to our renovation. But Miguel and his team at The Builders Project remained adaptive and patient throughout their time with us. We are delighted with the result: Garage, office, pergola, decking and comprehensive landscaping are all exactly as we had envisioned. Other builders had passed on our renovation, presumably due to its smaller scale in a stretched industry. But, having taken the time to understand our goals, Miguel's quote was detailed and fair. Miguel understands logistics and brought cohesive solutions to all aspects of our renovation. Even with other, much bigger projects underway, he maintained a calm command of all work and constant communication with us. The site was always kept clean and safe. The work itself is really exceptional, with materials and finish being of the highest quality. New elements have been made to match perfectly with existing features. Decking carpentry is particularly accomplished and precise. Miguel and his team at The Builders Project were extremely respectful of us and of our property and have given us the complete home that we wanted for a long time. We enthusiastically recommend them.

  Miguel and Kristina really are the dream team! With Miguel’s skills and eye for details and Kristina’s eye for design, nothing gets missed. We’ve used The Builders Project for two bathroom renovations so far and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. So much so we’re planning to use them to update the rest of our house too! Miguel kept in constant contact advising when trades would be on-site and what they would be doing. He also patiently answered all of my questions and made sure we were 100% happy with the outcome before finishing up. I cannot recommend The Builders Project highly enough.

  In short : We are exceptionally pleased with Miguel and his team. Meeting him was one of those “meant to be” coincidences because we were hoping for many years to find a decent builder who would complete our building projects with skill, competence, and care as if it was their own house, In a more detail: Miguel’s INTEGRITY and professionalism shined through the rather complex projects we handed him. Our balcony needed a complete reconstruction, which he rebuilt and redesigned, to rectify the original build that resulted in a dangerous structure due to water damage. He refreshed other ageing parts of our home snd it is better now compared to the original design. Most people don’t realise that being a builder includes organising and managing other trade specialists which can be very tricky because there are many individuals involved. However, he excelled at this as well. Miguel made sure he brought the best tradesmen to deal with different parts of the project. We had painters, renderers, plumbers, tilers and the building team. ( We used our own electrician but Miguel conversed with him very professionally as well.) They all did a fantastic job because Miguel picked a very good team. He even referred a great landscaping team which we are currently using and, so far, are very, very happy with. Miguel, himself, is an excellent carpenter as well as a builder, besides that he is a very prompt organiser. He constantly updated us with everything during the process. He did not delay attending to and overseeing any small matter. We were particularly impressed when he turned up twice on a public holiday which was actually his birthday to make sure the tiling was done correctly on that day. He just did not miss anything, was very attentive to his job and an exceptionally dedicated builder. We can’t praise him hight enough. We came across Miguel’s work by accident, although I would like to believe he was an answer to our prayers because we have been hoping for a great builder who could fix our leaky balcony and few other things around our home. He was renovating someone’s home in our neighbourhood and I asked if he could come and give us a quote. He did and we were very pleased that his work came with a professional guarantee because and that he is a registered builder. Our project was 90% outdoors, and therefore it had to be done before the rainy season started. Weather is unpredictable but Miguel understood this and aimed to finish on time to avoid any more water leaking into our home. The time frame he gave us was spot on and we were very pleased because he avoided any mayor delays. The whole process was seamless and we are very happy that we met such an honest, dedicated and kind person and professional. Since then we have recommended him to friends and family. If you are considering to hire someone, we highly recommend Miguel. Also, although we did not need to use Miguel’s wife’s design service, we are aware that she is a very good interior designer. If you need a new bathroom, kitchen or something which requires interior design then it is definitely worth to hire them both.

  I feel so very lucky that I chose this company, and even luckier that I had Miguel the Magician taking on my renovation. My house reno wasn’t very straight forward, but nothing was too hard, too big or too small for Miguel- the hardest working quiet achiever you’ll ever meet. What blew me away was his willingness to go above and beyond his duty, and always with a smile on his face! What I loved the most about having Miguel work in my home was his pleasant nature, positive attitude and how he always remained calm when I asked for something to be changed. He is very confident in his skill and a complete perfectionist who takes pride in his work. He would work for hours so quietly and then clean up after himself too. He made sure I was always happy along the way, and I never felt uncomfortable approaching him. Mainly, Miguel is a stand up gentleman who showed integrity daily, and I couldn’t be happier with my home results.
