McLarnon Build Co recently completed a studio and double garage extension on our family home in Newtown. The first conversation I had with Ned, long before construction began, left me feeling heard, reassured, excited, and with clear expectations. This was a standard which was maintained through every stage of the build, and which far exceeded the standards set by our previous experiences with builders and architects alike. We felt that our specific needs and goals were centred in the planning stages of the build, and obstacles were tackled smoothly by Ned and his team- without us running the usual exhausting interference. Even as relatively inexperienced renovators, we felt constantly in-the-loop. Crucially, Ned was transparent about costs and contingencies, and provided such thorough outlines at every stage (and with every update), that we were able to effectively plan and budget for the project. Throughout construction, Ned and his team were professional, committed, polite, and organised on site- which was incredible since we were both living onsite during construction, and welcoming a new baby into our home. Constructions was completed according to Ned's timeline, and communication was incredible throughout. Not only has the completed build exceeded our expectations for both quality and aesthetics, it has completely transformed our family life. We remarked constantly that we wish we had more money to give McLarnon Build Co, to continue work on more projects. We have immediately referred our immediate family and friends to Ned, and are already talking with him about the second phase of renovation in the near future. I would not hesitate to recommend Ned and his team to absolutely anyone.

I had an excellent experience with Ned and the team at McLarnon Build Co from start to finish. Their communication was proactive and clear, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The team was respectful, kept the site clean and tidy, and delivered the project on schedule with results that exceeded my expectations. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.

We used McLarnon Build Co for some minor inside renovations and to build a deck in our outdoor area. Ned visited before the job to quote and throughly discuss, and again after completion of the job. His service was professional, honest and authentic. Jimmy, Will and Hayley did a fantastic, precise job. They were friendly, respectful and hard working. We look forward to building with McLarnon Build Co in the future. Thanks team!

We first used McLarnon Build Co just over 4 years ago. Ned built ferneries for us, plus organized sky lights and a glass safety door at the top of our stairs. In addition, McLarnon Build Co has completed other projects we required. We highly recommend McLarnon Build Co. Ned is an excellent builder, has great ideas, is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We believe the renovations that McLarnon Build Co's made to our home, helped us to achieve the high sale price. We have now purchased our new home and have requested Ned arrange all internal and external renovations large and small for this home. Ned will be building patios, minor internal carpentry, arranging sky lights and all plumbing and electrical works. We highly recommend Ned and his team at McLarnon Build Co. for all the reasons above. We believe his prices are fair and reasonable, as well, we feel it is worth noting Ned together with his team are very reliable, plus cleaned and tidied the work area before leaving the job each day. We look forward to working with McLarnon Build Co in the very near future. Carmelita Keppell

I’ve been doing the plumbing work for McLarnon Build Co for the past three years, working closely with Ned. His communication and planning are always spot on, and invoices are paid on time without fail. You can tell a lot about a builder by the way he treats his trades, and Ned sets the bar high. His attention to detail is second to none (almost annoyingly so at times!), which makes for well-run projects and high-quality results. His team is a great bunch as well – professional on site and always good for a bit of banter. If I was ever looking to do a renovation or a new build myself, I wouldn’t hesitate to get Ned and his team on board.

Our home in St Leonards is approximately sixty years old and required some structural work to the existing home to allow improvements to the floor plan which was coupled with an extension to compliment our lifestyle. With plans and building permit in hand we contacted several builders and McLarnon Build Co stood out from the start as the builder that would deliver within our budget and time line. Throughout the entire building process Ned kept us fully informed and delivered on all aspects of our build. It was refreshing to work with someone that listened and cared. We were always onsite for the regulatory building inspections and not at any stage was there any hint of an issue that needed to be addressed. We believe this is a reflection of Ned and his team's ability and commitment to their work. McLarnon Build Co was the right choice for us. I would strongly recommend that you contact Ned for your next building project. Ian & Alison
