We have just gone through half a house transformation with the guidance of Lachie and his team of Lochaven Building Co,. We’ve had walls torn down and moved to accomodate our needs. Our kitchen was demolished and cabinetry supplied by Aiden from Vic Cabinets. Our stone bench tops supplied and fitted by DJ Stone, electrical by Robbie at RSE Electrical, plumbing by Darren at Brightline plumbing, floors selected and supplied by Billy and frank of Suburban flooring and installed by James, one of their recommended contractors. Thanks also go to Matt and Dan, the plasterers, Won & Ray from Won tiling and the final stage, Nam, the caulker who brought all the gaps to a close. Lachie created a butlers pantry from from an unused passageway, demolishing the bathroom and laundry along the way. Initially our aim was to have a just a kitchen renovation, door moved and butler pantry created but with the flexibility of working with Lachie, the renovation blew out to include a new bathroom toilet and laundry. The renovation was seamless with each of the trades working together to clean up at the end of each day removing all rubble and clearing rubbish into bags and bins stacking it away from the thoroughfare. This allowed us to remain living in the house while the renovation developed. It was about 9 weeks from start to finish and we painted progressively keeping up with the trades along the way which allowed a reduction in time to move back into the renovated area upon completion of the works. Oh my goodness. The transformation is unbelievable. We couldn’t be happier. Years of saving was worth the wait. Don’t know which room we want to be in more. They’ve all got little surprises elements that we’ve dreamed of having. Congratulations to the entire crew for making two ladies very happy in their forever home.

We are thrilled with our new bathroom and powder room. Lachie and his team worked some magic to turn one old ensuite into two separate rooms. Attention to detail and advice along the way has been second to none. We can’t wait for Lachie to return later in the year to work his magic on our laundry!
