It was a pleasure and thanks to Nick, (Lightning Homes) to Blair, Bodie & Terry for the fantastic job on my new home lift! Constructing & Installing a retrofit is no small task, but they handled the structural work and installation with total precision. Nick offered practical advice, and ensured every safety standard was met. His communication was excellent and I was kept in the loop at every stage, Nick & his team were professional, knowledgeable & friendly. They finished the project right on schedule. I had nick build my 2 bedroom unit in Hastings. This was a very good experience, nick was very thorough and concise and was always helpful and only to eager to help with all and any issues. Nick communicated with all tradesman’s and suppliers and kept on top of the time line and ensured the build was completed as per our timeline. I would recommend Nick not only as an excellent builder but also as a great guy who will go out of his way to help.

Nick was really great to work with, really patient with us and had great communication. The work was done by his apprentice Blair who was an absolute delight. He was polite and very respectful, and cleaned up after each day. Great work ethics. Job was removing of 2 old door jambs and 2 old doors. He really helped us out with sourcing the door jamb materials as we were looking at the wrong items. So removing and install of new items, Blair and Terry basically custom fitted the jambs and shaved off what was needed to make everything fit perfectly. Definitely keeping in contact with the team for any future support we may need.

Lightning Homes did a fantastic job with my full gut renovation to a double brick home. The job involved some complicated structural works to support a suspended slab upstairs resulting in a lot of steel work. Nick navigated through this with ease and competence. His trades were of a high standard too. One of the most enjoyable parts of working with Nick is his strong communication skills. At one part of the build we were talking multiple times per day and he was keeping me updated along the way. Thank you Nick and Lightning Homes.

We had the most amazing experience with Nick and his team. The whole renovation process was smooth, efficient and the result is a perfect new bathroom with even the smallest detail checked and double checked by Nick. All of the tradespeople who worked on the job were professional and great to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to get Nick and his crew back to continue our renovation journey.
