  George took on the responsibility of managing the building of 46 Farnham Street, Flemington, after being highly recommended by my neighbour. The commencement of building had been deferred for a number of years due to the Heritage Overlay and Council regulations and delays. The build commenced in late 2021 and completed in late 2023. George entered into a secure contract with key costing and operational benchmarks. The construction was then delayed by COVID restrictions. In the post-COVID world, there were shortages of both product and labour. This background is important in evaluating the work of George. Being a first-time home owner-builder, George went far beyond my expectations. He picked up major omissions from the building plans, notified me and put in place the necessary rectifications after discussing available options. I had quite a few variations which were seamlessly accommodated. Communicating with George was extremely easy and stress free. No question or enquiry was too much trouble. He promptly returned all calls and emails and communicated with me when he had a query or concern. This open and honest contact has continued following completion of the build. In assessing George’s contribution, his accessibility, contract control, cost control, quality control, community safety needs, client needs and problem solving were considered. On every score, George was an “A” grade assessment. In a difficult industry he was outstanding. Any client who is lucky enough to be able to access his services, skill and commitment will be very fortunate. An outstanding young man doing an outstanding job. Anna Kelty

Without the integrity, care and trust built with George and his trades, I couldn't have stepped back when I needed to, and still met timelines despite all that we had against us.   George and his team gutted and completely renovated our media and photography studio. They were always on time, highly professional and paid close attention to all the small details down to every moulding, fixture and drop of paint. George was adaptable and diligent with our unique requirements like adding special soundproofing materials to the internal walls, and provided creative ideas and options for how we could fit things to suit our budget. They meticulously cleaned up at the end of every day so even when under construction, the place was spotless. I’d hire them again without hesitation, and you should too.

  George and his team renovated our home in Balwyn North, managing fluctuating costs in a difficult commodity market and still to deliver the project on time and well under budget. The quality that George expects of his trades showed through in the finished product. We couldn’t be happier and will only use ibuild going forward.
