    We recently visited the Himalaya Homes double-storey display home in Glen Waverley and honestly… wow. The moment we walked in, we were completely blown away by the design, the space, and the overall feel of the home. Everything looked so thoughtfully planned and beautifully finished. The kitchen was a standout — such a spacious, practical layout, and the huge butler’s pantry was an absolute dream. You could genuinely picture cooking and entertaining there so comfortably. But what really stopped us in our tracks was the center staircase area. The stairs work is stunning, and the beautiful chandelier hanging over the open void is just next level. That whole space feels so grand and luxurious, like something out of a high-end magazine. It creates such a gorgeous sense of openness and light through the home. We also loved the ceiling work throughout — the detailing adds so much elegance and makes every area feel premium and polished. And the best part for me? The massive walk-in robe in the master bedroom. Seriously, it felt like a boutique dressing room — huge, well laid out, and such a perfect finishing touch to the master suite. Overall, this display home is a perfect mix of style, quality, and smart design. Himalaya Homes have done an amazing job and we left feeling genuinely inspired. Highly recommend a visit if you’re building or even just looking for ideas!
