We were planning to build in Cowes and wanted to work with a local builder who had strong knowledge of the area. From our first meeting with Craig at Coldon Homes in Newhaven, we knew we were in good hands. He was exceptionally helpful right from the early planning stages, offering honest advice and ongoing support — even when we decided to change from one home design to a completely different layout, which we then modified extensively. Craig’s guidance made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Once construction began, our site supervisor Ben continued that same high level of care and attention. He was outstanding — approachable, responsive, and always proactive. Even with last-minute changes, Ben handled everything with ease and professionalism. His attention to detail was second to none, often suggesting small "1% improvements" that made a big difference in the final finish of the home. The entire team at Coldon Homes was a pleasure to deal with — friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about delivering quality homes. We’re absolutely thrilled with the end result and couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend Coldon Homes to anyone looking to build.

I’ve just moved into my house and am very happy with the outcome. Coldon have been fantastic throughout the whole process. I made many changes to the initial plan and built on steep site- they adjusted for all of this. Steve was always available and called me as needed for any updates/questions and decisions. The overall finish of the house is great- would definitely recommend.

We’ve been in our place for 5 months and are pleased with the outcome. Took a little longer due to COVID (industry wide issue and nothing to blame Coldon Homes for). Final product looks great and has been trouble free (very minor defects addressed without question or issue). Thanks and we would happily recommend to friends and family.

We were very pleasantly surprised by Coldon when building our place. We were told the supervisor could be a bit gruff but he was a great builder. That was not our experience. Bill was great to deal with, returned calls promptly and was really focused on quality. The crew that worked on the house were similarly really accommodating and easy to deal with with. We would happily use them again.

We have just had a house built by Coldon on our block at Phillip Island. We are impressed with the quality of the work and we will recommend them without hesitation. The whole process, even during the early days during Covid, was met with professionalism and respect from all concerned. Special mention to Earl, the building supervisor. Coldon homes built a home for us at Golden Beach. Neil was fantastic with the plans and designs, nothing was a problem, Bill supervised and ensured exacting standards, Steve completed the handover and initial follow ups. James and Dale have dealt with any subsequent queries quickly and efficiently. I am fussy and like to know just what is going on and when, this wasn’t a problem for Coldon they met and exceeded every expectation that we had. I have recommended them to anyone I know who is contemplating building. Great quality at a good price, they do what they say they will do.
