  My five-star rating is entirely due to Gary, the instructor of the three-week advanced class preparing students for the exam. To be honest, my overall experience with Builder Registration was deeply frustrating. I faced significant administrative issues, including having to redo my portfolio multiple times due to the incompetence of the staff directly handling my file. Gary, however, was absolutely fantastic. He is a true wealth of knowledge and has an exceptional talent for explaining complex concepts in a way that students can understand. I was so impressed that I hired him for personal tutoring. He taught me an incredible amount, and I am confident I would not have passed the exam without his guidance. I think the world of him and consider him both a mentor and the reason for my success. Thank you so much, Gary, for your patience, expertise, and invaluable help in making my goal of obtaining a builder's license a reality.

  My experience with builders registration has been up and down. My initial training was with taylor which was great. The process that followed to get my application ready was frustrating. I believe this was due to staff being away/ staff change over. Once my application landed with samantha ( the 3rd person to handle my application) it all happened fast, Sam picked up with multiple issues that had been previously missed. My exam training with Gary was fantastic. Gary went in depth with explanations and always had the time to re explain if someone didn't quite grasp what he was saying. He had a massive knowledge on what to expect from the exam and I felt very well prepared for my exam. I then opted to do a one on one training session with Gary. He run through a list of things he believed I should study up op but then spent the time to go through them all and explain anything I didn't understand. There were multiple items that I had tried to research and hadn't quite grasped that he explained easily. after my training I found the interview process straight forward with 95% of questions covered.   These guys offer a good service, pretty happy with my experience over all. The real win was I was lucky enough to meet Gary. If you can see if you can get a spot on one of his classes or just even get a one on one session with him. He is awsome, really thorough, and actually cares about your outcome at the end.   Finally after a good 12 months, I received my builder registration in Dec. The support I had from builder reg and the training courses was fantastic, But I have to give it to my trainer Garry! He gave me all the time I needed and extra personal coaching sessions to fully fill the knowledge and the voids I needed to fix to get ready for last stages of registration . As a practicing builder himself it was great to get the knowledge from someone who is all over every bit of building + registration requirements, from educating from the textbooks to practical knowledge required as a builder. I really Appreciated and respected all Garry’s wealth of knowledge that was delivered in a very clear and simple way to understand and comprehend. Would 100% recommend builder reg and their training packages to anyone.
