We recently had our upstairs bathroom renovated by Jake at our house in Middleton and we’re really happy with how it turned out. From the start we felt comfortable that Jake knew exactly what he was doing. The quality of the work is excellent and the finished bathroom looks great. Jake was reliable, easy to deal with and kept us informed as the job went along. It’s clear he takes pride in doing things properly and finishing everything to a high standard. The whole renovation went smoothly and the bathroom has turned out even better than we expected. We’d definitely have Jake back for future work.

Jake undertook a whole bunch of projects on my property, he respected my budget and time frame. He rejuvenated window frames and completely replaced flooring, reroofed and extended my carport, put in some railing and so much more, all was completed to an exceptionally high standard! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of work done on their property!

Jake has completely transformed what was our dark and cramped lounge and kitchen in our 1970’s home, by opening up and removing walls, installing a new custom made front door, sanding and repairing filthy old floorboards back to their beautiful original Tassie oak lustre, and transforming our original pantry space to accommodate our fridge and create more floor space. We couldn’t be happier with the result! Jake is creative with a ‘can do’ attitude. He was confident in offering his solutions and ideas to best utilise what was previously a tight, wonky and difficult space. He understood our quirky aesthetic and worked within our budget. He is always on time, extremely hard working, takes pride in his craft and is very particular about the little details. Our home was always left clean and tidy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jake and we look forward to having him back to work on our ongoing renovations. Aside from being an exceptional builder, he is also a genuinely nice person.

Jake worked on a restoration of my stunning farm house and dairy in the Byron hinterland . He is an exceptional tradesman and artisan - using old wood and iron tin and other fabrics to bring the place back to its glory . I can’t recommend Jake and his team highly enough ! He is OCD about the smallest of details and nothing is a trouble for him to change or attempt . I waited for Jake and his company for more than 6 months to do the project because he is highly sort after but he was well worth the wait

We started with a really decrepit old farmer-built shearing shed, not quite falling down, but overdue for demolition. Jake worked his magic, worked exceptionally hard and worked out elegant solutions to transform the ugly and redundant space into the most beguiling and enchanting fairy-book greenhouse. This conversion of his making has transformed our lives, not only adding a wonderful new addition to our property, but also by enabling us to much more productively grow our own fresh, healthy Tasmanian food. Jake was on site, on time every morning. He is an enthusiastic and creative designer as well as being an excellent and accomplished tradesman. He is also a charming, intelligent and engaging personality to spend time with. We have become firm friends and I have no hesitation in recommending Jake. He will not let you down.

Jake just transformed our bathroom from dingy to a showpiece, all while we were away. We returned to a spotless house, a stunning bathroom and a bottle of champagne, scented candle, and bath salts. Jake kept us informed with regular updates and photos, and made suggestions that improved the end result. As a tiler , he is second to none. I just hope he will be available to do the rest of the house! Cannot recommend highly enough. And to top it off, he's a lovely bloke.
