Andy, our site supervisor, consistently kept us in the loop about schedules and was always committed to ensuring the highest quality of workmanship. No matter what challenges arose—especially those that come with renovating an older property—Andy handled everything smoothly and efficiently, making what could have been a stressful process feel seamless. Squiggs, as BAYS Manager, was professional with any variations we requested, ensuring the paperwork for Council subsidies was managed promptly so that we did not miss the deadline. We’re also grateful to Mike, Sam, and Kara, whose dedication and cheerful attitude made a real difference, especially since we continued to live and work in the house throughout the renovations. Jody, as BAYS Office Manager, also provided excellent service providing invoices and receipts and prompt turnaround of paperwork that we required for external businesses. Thanks to your efforts, we now have a wonderful space that’s perfect for entertaining, working from home, and welcoming guests in comfort. The compliments we’ve received on the transformation and quality of your work have been overwhelming. Thank you, Builders At Your Service. We are in awe at the quality of your work. The extension to the front of our home is seamless. We needed extra space as, due to the housing crisis, we have become a multi generational home. Now my disabled husband (Grandpa) has his own space which includes a disabled friendly, ensuite. I contacted Builders at Your Service (BAYS) for a second storey extension. BAYS were the only builder interested in taking on my job, and it I was very fortunate it was them who took the job on. The first contact was with Brenton, who handles all the designs and approvals. Brenton did a great job with the design, from my vague ideas his first draft was 95% perfect with only minor amendments which he was happy to make. Brenton also did a great job handling the approvals and dealing with some of the approval challenges associated with a second storey extension. Once everything was approved Andy (site supervisor) and Squiggs (BAYS Manager) got the work started quickly. Throughout the process Andy was tremendously helpful and communicative. He was always on top of scheduling the works, always communicated what trades would be onsite and what would be happening and when. He also was excellent at ensuring the trades work was to the required quality, taking any stress out of the process for us. The trades were also friendly and accommodating (as we were living in the house while the extension was done). Mike and Sam (BAYS inhouse trades) were also great, handling several jobs to ensure the overall project continued to move forward. Squiggs was also great at handling the variations that we requested and ensuring all the necessary paper was done (it’s probably important to note that BAYS used proper HIA contracts, the works are properly insured and you receive the insurance certificate, etc). Overall, an outstanding experience, and the project was finished in 16 weeks! Which was amazing, comparing to some of my friends experience with building projects – so I couldn’t recommend BAYS more! The quality was excellent, build was quick, pricing was good. Thanks to everyone on the team.
