We had an amazing experience building with Steve and the team! Communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. We came to them with a clear vision of what we wanted, and they worked closely with us to create a custom design that perfectly suited our needs. They were incredibly patient throughout the design process, really listened to our ideas, and offered their expertise to ensure the final result was something we would truly love. The finished product is everything we dreamed of, and we couldn’t be happier. Having a builder local to the Gympie area was important to us, and Steve and the team were outstanding from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend them more highly! Paul & Alice Nobbs

SP Thorne Homes - A Truly Hassle-Free Building Experience We recently had the pleasure of building our home with SP Thorne Homes, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked into their display home, we felt confident we were in the right hands. Rusty’s extensive knowledge, advice, and support laid the foundation for a smooth and enjoyable building process. Owner Steve's eye for detail, guidance, and commitment to excellence were evident every step of the way. His incredible carpenter team, Matt and Lou, delivered top-notch workmanship, and their fantastic tradies, including Kayden Electrical, ensured everything was of the highest quality. We also had piece of mind building with SP Thorne Homes as they were fully transparent —there were absolutely NO hidden costs. What they quoted was exactly what they delivered, giving us complete peace of mind throughout the build. The attention to detail extended beyond the build itself. Nicole’s helpful chats about curtains and blinds, which weren’t even part of the project, showed how much they care about the little things that make a house a home. The worksite was always spotless, reflecting the pride and professionalism of the team. If you're looking for a builder who listens, cares, and delivers exceptional results with no surprises, look no further than Steve and his awesome team at SP Thorne Homes. We would build with them again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone. Pete and Jen

We would like to thank Steve and the whole team at SP Thorne for our new home. This was the first time we had ever undertaken a project like this and after hearing so many horror stories, we did our research and settled on SP Thorne and we are so glad we did. The house is everything we wanted and nothing was too much of a drama for Steve. We also lived on site during the build and we can say all his chippies and sub contractors are great to deal with.
