I can highly recommend this company. I came to McLachlan's with a challenging steep block (sloping in two directions), a tight building envelope, protected trees and environmental restrictions. I also had a very specific style of house in mind (not to mention a specific budget!). The end result is a house I love that is built to a very high standard. There were some 'bumps' during the build e.g. significant weather events and other not-insignificant issues. They navigated all of this well, and communicated transparently. I felt that Brad (owner) takes pride in the homes he builds and is clearly very experienced. The site supervisor (Nick) was excellent to communicate with and very knowledgeable and the office crew were quick to respond and easy to engage with. I really appreciated being able to change some details of the house part way through the build (e.g. when the frame was up, I was able to walk through and decided I wanted more windows added & at another point I wanted more storage built in). The cost for these changes were very reasonable. I also appreciated being able to "spec up" in the kitchen as that was important to me, and choose budget-friendly finishes elsewhere. There was a minor issue after handover, and they responded quickly and resolved it well. I am super happy living in this home, so I have no intention of building again, but if I did - I would certainly go back to this company.

We are very satisfied customers. This is our first ever experience building a house and we found out that McLachlan Homes are a trustworthy, reliable and professional builder, and we had peace of mind even in difficult years in the building industry. As a custom-built house we are very happy with the inclusions and materials used. House design was carefully laid out in a way that has several corners and considering different sun-angles. A few seasons have passed since the handover and we found the house is very energy efficient in different weathers. We also like their workmanship and those of all other tradies involved. It has been a wonderful journey from the beginning till the handover and we appreciate efforts from the whole team who have been amazingly approachable and helpful. This is a result of an outstanding teamwork and we are thankful to each and everyone. Special thanks to Nick — he's an amazing site supervisor and we appreciate that he always helped us to resolve the issues with a cool mind. Stacey-Lee for your help in liaising and correspondence, Angela for your replies regarding our accounting enquiries, Richard for bringing us to securing a contract with McLachlan in the very beginning, Andrew and Warren for the impeccable paints, Roger for carpenter works, Phil for plumbing works, Ronald for amazingly flawless tiling, Robyn (from their tile supplier Why Not Tiles) for colour selection suggestions. We like their cabinetry and electrical tradies too. Lastly, we couldn't be happier with our new home. For us everyday at home is a blessing thanks to McLachlan Homes, and if we are lucky enough to afford more new homes, we would definitely choose McLachlan again. Ethan and Thwe

We have built a new home based on the Bella Casa that was on display at North Harbour. This is the third house we have built from scratch and we have built with three well respected builders. We can honestly say that designing our dream home and building with McLachlan's has been our best experience. It was an absolute pleasure to work with the McLachlan team and their tradespeople are the best we have come across. We will post some photos after we have moved in. If ever we build again we will go straight back to McLachlan's

My husband and I recently built with McLachlan Homes, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We had a very unusual, wedge‐shaped block of land, and the experience from sales through to handover was outstanding. • Rob in sales was incredible: he took our challenging block and came up with a design that embraced the odd angles rather than fighting them. His attention to detail and creativity went well beyond anything we expected. • James, our building supervisor, was patient, understanding, and just a top bloke throughout the entire build. Always kept us informed, responsive, and showed genuine care for getting things right. • The administration team at McLachlan Homes is second to none. Very professional, super efficient, and always supportive. Special shout out to Laura — what a trooper! If you asked for something, you got it. The whole journey — design, build, finish — was seamless and supportive. The staff treat you like family, not just another client. McLachlan Homes right from day one listened to us and what was important in our next home. Terry was our first contact, and nothing was too hard for him. Extremely professional and very knowledgeable in his field. Terry was the only one that created a plan that worked correctly on our block. No other Company could provide us a plan that worked as well as McLachlan Homes. After signing the contract with Terry, we were handed over to Sarah who is our Customer Service Officer. We had made several changes and felt like nothing was too difficult. Very understanding and not once did they say this couldn’t be changed. No unnecessary fees to vary the floor plan or add additional features. During the build Nick was our Site Supervisor. Nick kept in touch with us and advised when things will be taking place and when we need to get any outside trades in during rough in stage etc. Just like Terry and Sarah, Nick was very professional and made the process so simply. Just an amazing Home Building Company! We now have handover of our beautiful Home. And what a Home! Everything we wanted and then some. It was nice to see the three people who helped so much at the handover appointment to see what they have created for us. Thank you to everyone there who has helped us behind the scenes. Luke & Kate
