My partner and I had the best experience with Cheney constructions. They built our house in fours months and make the process as easy as it could have been. The team were also super helpful with a design ideas for our smaller house to make it feel bigger and the space more open. Building on a smaller block the team also allowed us to move walls and add things such as a walk in pantry that other builders wouldn’t allow us to change on the plan. Building just after COVID we also didn’t get hit with any unexpected fees or extra costs. My partner couldn’t recommend Cheney enough and we’re so glad we went with them to build our home.

Thank you to Cheney Constructions Qld for building our new home. Being our first home and the apprehension to build and the building industry at the time, weighed heavily with us and whether this was the right time. Looking back now, it was the right decision for us as a family to build, as we couldn't find something that suited us and the timeframe for the land to be developed wasn't great, but that was something out of our control and our builders. The journey started by looking at various builders, display homes and just overall product. As we needed land, Cheney was offering House and land packages and that's how we meet them. Aaron, right at the start was the man, that made us feel that this company was perfect for us, and we proceeded to get the land sorted, which we did and followed up with the Build. Selecting single or double was the next step and based on our initials want list, we stuck with the double Storey. The selection and office team were fantastic, like Aaron right from the start. Communication second to none. Professionalism was perfect. No issues with contracts or advisements of the build. Any delays we had, had been communicated and was just awesome all the way through. Really one of the best parts of building with Cheney is the fortnightly emails, advising what stages or what was happening on the build. When the slab went down at the start of March, the 2 Storey build was completed and handed over on the 30th August, Built in 6 mths - we couldn’t be happier. Their trades are quite amazing. The quality of the work is brilliant. Walls are plumb, the brickwork lines are perfect and straight, the internal finishes, again perfect. Any defects or issues were sorted as soon as they had been brought to attention or picked up before got to asking. The supervisor of the job, from being in the building industry for many years, I believe is also a major factor of how your house will progress and the quality of the build. Kudos to Adam. Legend! The build kept steaming along and you didn't miss a beat. PC came and any issues got sorted. Hand over came and it was now ours, but again you responded to issues we picked up that needed attention and got onto them. Fantastic company - brilliant team of people. You need a builder who cares about the product they put out and the staff that works under their name and how they support you as their client! Would highly recommend using these guys! As this was our first time building a home the team were super patient and helpful with the hundreds of questions we had. They understood our budget and helped build the nicest house. We are so happy with the finished product.

Where do we start, from start to finish building with Cheney Constructions has been the best built house I have ever built (this would be my 3rd house in 8 years). This house was a custom design that we created, and Cheney made our dream come true. Starting with Jess in the office, she's extremely nice and efficient to deal with. Her responses are very thorough and you know exactly what you're getting. They're very flexible with letting you choose your tiles and what company you go through. Through the construction, Adam is an excellent builder that checks all of his contractors work. They are very quick and efficient, the end result is amazing and of a very high standard. Our house was build in 14 weeks and we couldn't be happier. Cheney Constructions use Zente kitchens, Naomi helped us through the design and the results are amazing 😍.
