G.J. Gardner Homes - Townsville

I decided to wait a year so that I may give a realistic review of our modest home. The timeframe and the refusal to do my ceilings in satin are my only hates. On balance though houses are hard, and I did want a great deal of modifications which they worked through and supplied. The home is beautifully built, the finish is excellent, and it has proven exceptionally reliable, requiring next to no warranty work. Special mention to the remarkably high and thick foundation, I stand high compared to my neighbours. Thank you everyone at GJ for getting there in the end and thank you for letting the solar guys in to work early. While I did the deck, pool, shade cloth and landscaping, none of it would look good without a solid trouble-free home to build them from. Very happy.

We found the team at GJ Gardner a pleasure to deal with. From sales, through construction and even after completion. We made many changes prior to contract on our plan to suit our family needs and the team were so helpful. Graham was great in assisting me with some finer details to meet my requests. Our site supervisor was amazing through the project, great communication and available to answer any questions we had. The team was fantastic communicating with us on any variations or changes that needed to be attended to during the construction and all charged variations were at our request. A great effort to work with us to accommodate completion on time for our interstate relocation. Their after sales and warranty 5 months after handover has been second to none. Whist all out items since the build have been very minor the communication and time frames of actioning with Natasha and Steve have been exceptional. We only had one challenge that needed changing after we moved in, but it was something we signed off on, but even then , Natasha and Ross worked to assist us in making the change happen. And for that we are very grateful. We would highly recommend GJ Gardner Townsville and their team. We love our new home and can’t thank you enough.

We built with GJ this year for our very first home, we were very set on a budget and a location and even though felt like we were met with judgement and offered no assistance from other builders we then found Kristy Speers who was so quick to respond to our email with options and opinions, Kristy was the only one who was willing to help us and get the ball rolling. She contacted our areas office for land availability (which we knew was very low chance on our budget) and she found one, got it for us and did everything on her end so quick and was thorough in helping and explaining everything. Kristy was ALWAYS there to communicate with us even though she didn’t have too when we needed help with something,l and we could not have done any of this without her. We are SO thankful for her in believing in us and helping us! Also a shout out to Annette for always being so communicative with us, responding quickly and being so prompt with every single email. We could not fault these two staff members. Even though we had some hiccups in our build, they were very attentive to fix the issues and our home is just what we needed and perfect for our family. We are so thankful to GJ Townsville and would recommend them in a heart beat.
