George is a master at his craft and was happy to discuss and answer all our queries along the way. Very highly recommend! Thanks George!

George resurfaced the bathtub in my rental house, he was very communicative and explains well. When the bathroom surface settled unevenly, which he said rarely happens, he came back and fixed the problem in a timely manner and at no extra cost. Happy with the final result.

George did a brilliant job resurfacing my bath in my rental property while I was living overseas. It wasn't until I returned 2 years later that I realised the paint had run over onto the drain and there were also some stains and scrathces which I didn't expect. I called George and he came and had a look and apologised for the overspill (must have happened after he left) and was happy to fix. He explained that the stains and scratches were a result of tenants not looking after the bath and using abrasives to eventually clean it which seems accurate. Even though this wasn't covered under warranty, George happily polished the bath when I came to fix the overspill and got it back to looking like new. He also very kindly polished my shower screen which had terrible water marks and also fixed a chip in my basin. All at no extra cost! And of course very friendly service. I would not hesitate in recommending George to anyone who needs a bath resurfacer! Thanks again George!

We dropped a tile on our new bath tub which resulted in several chips. George was amazing. He came by 2 days after calling him and did a great job at making the bath tub look as good as new again.

Frequently asked questions

How much do builders typically charge?
Builder costs vary widely depending on the job type and complexity. Minor repairs are generally much less than extensions, small builds or structural alterations that need foundations, framing or specialist input. Most quotes include a call‑out fee plus labour and materials, and the page shows live pricing to help you compare options.
Do builders charge call-out fees?
Call‑out fees are common and typically cover travel and an initial inspection or assessment. This fee is usually separate from hourly labour and materials, and after‑hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates. Ask whether a call‑out or minimum charge applies when requesting quotes.
Do builders need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Building work generally needs to be carried out by a licensed builder in every state and territory, and NSW builders are regulated by NSW Fair Trading. Builders should be able to provide their state builder/contractor licence number and show appropriate insurances and ABN/GST registration. In Victoria, domestic building insurance is required above a state threshold for certain contracts.
