They guided us through the entire process from start to finish, with daily updates and photos via the coconstruct app. We had a very specific vision for our second storey addition and we got several quotes for the building work but when we met Chris Walkom we knew straight away that he was the right man for the job. Chris and his team ticked all the boxes that were high on our priorities list - they were punctual, honest, reliable, friendly and above all amazing tradesmen that consistently delivered high quality work. He has a fantastic team of support staff, dedicated to assisting the client with selections, Rhiannon went over and above to source very specific items and kept everything on track with the schedule. When you are renovating a 100 year old house there are always going to be a few bumps in the road, but from the clients prospective it’s how your builder deals with those hurdles that defines the experience. The hurdles that we faced along the course of our build were dealt with in a professional, mindful and positive manner, always ensuring that we were happy with the outcome. It’s a massive investment and you need to have full trust and faith in your builder and their team, if we had the opportunity to build again we would choose Walkom Construction every time. We engaged Walkom for a significant extension and addition. We're stoked not only with the result, but the process to get there. There's something pretty special about the culture and work ethic at Walkom – everyone we dealt with was highly skilled, took great pride in their work, got stuck in and was excellent to deal with. Our project was very well organised from start to finish. The site was always busy and despite tight access everything kept humming and progressing with no delays. Walkom nailed the timeline, kept to the budget, worked calmly and productively, and we really appreciated the suggestions and guidance throughout. We didn't have a clue what we were doing and nothing was ever a problem. It was a pleasure to be around the team and watch them bring our plans to life with such skill and professionalism.
