Synthetic sports did a great job redoing our clubs 2 courts. There was a slight issue with some streaking on a small portion of one court which they rectified without any problems. Highly recommend.

We had a unique country property that was located on a steep block - this made it very difficult for our football loving sons to play because the balls kept rolling down the hill, never to be seen again! With the expert help of Synthetic Sports Group, we were able to convert an old shed on the property into a pitch for our kids & they absolutely love it (as do we and our holiday guests - we rent the property on AirBnb). The team at Synthetic Sports were easy to deal with & did really professional job of our pitch and we would highly recommend them to others.

Synthetic Sports Group resurfaced 3 courts at Wingham Tennis Club in October 2024 after they had been damaged by a landslip. The new surface used was the Ominicourt Pro Court PE recommended for its performance and good value. The works were carried out professionally and with a great deal of care to achieve a good quality finish working with an existing base. Excellent feed-back has been received from the tennis club who are delighted with the finished product, which plays well and drains well, enabling play to resume soon after a rain event. the Club couldn't be happy with the result. Would be happy to use these guys again.

Synthetic Sports Group did a great job for us. They took the time to do two onsite inspections prior to their quote. As a small community club they understood how important the court resurfacing was to us, kept us informed and delivered on time.

We needed our home tennis court resurfaced. Synthetic Sports Group were the only company that responded to our enquiries. We needed to address a significant drainage issues which they solved after several site visits and engaging a specialist subcontractor. Drainage solution outstanding. Despite very wet weather they completed resurfacing in good time. Could not recommend them more highly

Synthetic Sports Group has completed the resurfacing of 6 synthetic grass courts at the Cooma Royal Tennis Courts. Works were completed on time and within budget. Communication from all members of SSG was excellent. From start to finish the work they carried out was excellent. SSG went above and beyond what was expected. They are a very professional, hard working team and their leader, Lenny, is awesome. Nothing thrown at them, wind, snow and other challenges seemed to dampen their work ethic or spirit. Lenny is easy to talk to and to get progress reports, absolutely terrific. The entire team at SSG, from office staff to on site workers, are a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending SSG, they made the whole project run extremely smoothly and the final outcome was above our expectations. Mick Askell President Cooma Royal Tennis Club

Frequently asked questions

How much do builders typically charge?
Builder costs vary widely depending on the job type and complexity. Minor repairs are generally much less than extensions, small builds or structural alterations that need foundations, framing or specialist input. Most quotes include a call‑out fee plus labour and materials, and the page shows live pricing to help you compare options.
Do builders charge call-out fees?
Call‑out fees are common and typically cover travel and an initial inspection or assessment. This fee is usually separate from hourly labour and materials, and after‑hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates. Ask whether a call‑out or minimum charge applies when requesting quotes.
Do builders need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Building work generally needs to be carried out by a licensed builder in every state and territory, and NSW builders are regulated by NSW Fair Trading. Builders should be able to provide their state builder/contractor licence number and show appropriate insurances and ABN/GST registration. In Victoria, domestic building insurance is required above a state threshold for certain contracts.
Is Synthetic Sports Group licensed?
Yes. Synthetic Sports Group currently shows an active trade licence on SureQuote.
