  We engaged Tony to complete a bathroom and kitchen renovation at our eastern suburbs unit. The unit itself is situated in a tight location without any direct vehicle access. This, in addition to the age of the building, presented a host of challenges to Tony who was able to address any concerns we had throughout the process. One of our key requirements was to have the works completed within two months before the birth of our child. Tony was able to deliver this swiftly and we were super impressed with his ability to string together all relevant parties at relatively short notice, close to the holiday period. We were also presented with the challenge of difficult neighbours and a strata committee, parties that Tony expertly navigated to ensure that everyone was satisfied by the end of the project. In terms of workmanship, Tony was responsive to our needs and design specifications. He addressed all concerns that we had throughout the process and ensured that any (minor) post-work remediation was addressed. It was great working with Tony and we would absolutely engage him again to complete any future works.

  We were fortunate to retain Tony for our build during difficult economic times (Covid). We had engaged a number of firms for quotes however Sydney Construction And Design stood out based on their previous high quality projects, and glowing recommendations. Once he started, he didnt stop and aside from a week or 2 weather delay we still finished within the time envelope Tony quoted. Tony suggested a few design changes during construction that we took on and they ehanced our final product beyond expectations (my fave is the shadow line and garage internal render). Always on time and didnt miss a beat. Expects the most out of his trades and it shows. A few small adjustments after OC were fixed immediately and to a high standard. Thanks To Tony and SC&D for building our dream home.

  This company built the extension to my house and 2 years later, I had them come back to build my granny flat. Then I referred this company to a friend of mine who is also very happy with the work. Tony is an honest, professional builder who I trust. He is on-site all the time to supervise the work. He has many years of experience and happy to explain and consult with me during both my builds.
