Recently myself and Bernie, partnered with Mellross Homes and their team to build our new home at 187 Milly Milly Lane Young NSW. Along with many of the tradies and suppliers, Darren and Tracey Mellross were always available to answer any questions we had regarding the build, “the attention to detail and quality of work was outstanding” from the design team, preparing the slab to slab construction, electrical trades, glaziers, plumbers, plasters, builders, roofers, tilers, painters, kitchen design team, land scaping, labours, the behind to scene team “myself and Bernie thank-you all” Mellross Homes helped us build our lovely country home which is totally off-grid with power supplied by a large solar array and battery storage. Another unique design feature of this home was the in-slab hydronic heating, heated by a modern wood boiler. In winter this boiler heats the domestic hot water and cement slab, while in summer hot water is heated from the solar array panels, both systems are backed up by an Infinity gas hot water system. Mellross Homes recently completed the construction of a quality home for us at Yass. From our first enquiry with their friendly and dedicated staff right through to completion by their professional tradesmen, we were totally impressed. Marilyn oversaw the project whilst I was working up north . Any query or request that she had on site was promptly followed up thru the appropriate channels which kept the whole process moving forward. Maintenance after completion was never an issue with Mellross. They addressed any touch ups required, cheerfully and promptly and were proactive with ongoing checkups.
