  The man, the myth, the legend: it’s all true. Our bathroom renovation was outstanding. Not only did Jason and Kynan do an exceptional job, the attention to detail was second to none, the practical advice on things we’d never thought of added to the result, they tackled other issues in our home previous builders had failed at, Jason and Kelly followed up after the job was done to make sure we were 100% happy, and are genuinely nice people to deal with.   It all began in 2012, having not long moved into a little 100 year old brick cottage at the bottom of a hill in Goulburn. Someone at work recommended Jason Cooper Building as an excellent tradie, with specific empathy and expertise in heritage buildings and restoration. So yes, he was contacted. Initially for re-positioning a couple of french doors and door frames. Followed by skylights inserted into the ceilings of windowless rooms. Then cupping of timber floorboards. After that it was extending the back deck, including construction of a tall peaked roof to cover it all. (That required submission to Council with plans, achieved without any hassles.) When the sun was beating down through the windows in 2019...that was the summer that was...awnings were custom designed to suit the heritage of our cottage, drawings sent to Council, the timber and corrugated iron measured and manufactured by Jason and Kynan into awnings that look as if they have always been part of our cottage. Most recently Jason and Kynan converted a dusty, dilapidated, disused old timber shed into a beautiful and now very frequently used Tea Room (despite the fact that rumours of a sauna were whispered around the streets, unbeknown to us!). No, it is a Tea Room! Our confidence in Jason's advice was such that we would defer to him on many occasions during the project, whilst he still allowed a great deal of flexibility for changes on the run as we discovered obstructions or glitches during the build. Thank you Jason, Kynan, Kelly and each of the apprentices that have worked for us over the many years. We have definitely found it worth waiting for the very busy, very well respected team to be available whenever there is something needing to be done in or around the house.

  Jason prepared, painted and sealed flashing to the verandah roof and reinstalled flashing to a skylight on our home. He is meticulous at his trade and the workmanship is always outstanding.

  Jason did an amazing job at my home, installing an awning, getting Council approvals as required, and making recommendations for materials, colours, etc to get the perfect look and feel. Installation itself was seamless and the finished product looks great. I am 100% happy and would definitely recommend Jason and the team!
