Read moreShane and the team at Dependabuild have just completed a fairly major renovation for us which was undertaken in 2 stages over a period of 7 months. Our renovation included some demolition, restructuring of walls and supporting beams to create a beautiful open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, three new bathrooms, a new kitchen, walk in robes, a deck extension, staircase and the installation of new windows and doors. We are delighted with the end results. The whole process was managed very professionally from the quotation stage right through to completion. Throughout the project the team was reliable, punctual, professional, and friendly and we particularly liked their attitude and dedication to solving any problems that came along. With any project and when dealing with older buildings such as ours there will be unanticipated challenges that crop up. It’s how such challenges are handled that is the real measure and Dependabuild always found solutions. We unhesitatingly recommend Dependabuild.

They were competitively priced, honest and reliable, and did excellent work. Whether it was removing structural walls, matching existing woodwork, installing skylights, demolishing a kitchen, replacing windows or hanging doors, everything was done with attention to detail and pride in their work. Shane and the team are good communicators – they were always happy to talk through options and were clear about what could be done. Because they didn’t over-promise, I could trust what they said and our work went really smoothly. They are a lovely group of guys who were professional, polite, respectful of our house and seemed to have fun together. It made for a nice atmosphere on site, which is important during a long renovation! Shane was also transparent with costs – his quote was very detailed and where costs were estimated due to unknown elements, we received credits when the work was simpler than expected. Overall, Dependabuild are the kind of decent, experienced builders everyone hopes to find. We would 100% use them again.
