  What can I say about James and the BuildUp team. From the 1st time we met James after meeting with multiple other builders, we were standing in front of our house, in tears after going through what can only be described as an excruciating process with the design and DA process already, we felt an immediate sense of trust and reassurance that this was the team we could trust to bring our vision to life. James and the BuildUp team swung into action from a completely new design, and DA submitted, to providing a clear and transparent costing structure and work breakdown so we knew exactly what was happening at each stage of the build. We knew we were in the best hands. The Build Up team has such a high standard for workmanship which translated on site with the boys who were on site everyday, who consistently worked to bring our project out of the ground with such a high level of quality. James really co-designed this home with us, he is in here too as is the BU team. James listened, he consulted, he kept us informed, and to say that a house build goes smoothly isn't common - but with him and the team... it really did. Nothing was even too hard or too much, and I know they built something that not only are we proud of, but they are proud of (as they should be). We would never recommend another builder after working with this team, as they truly are the best at what they do - and they are even better people to work with. We are grateful that they became friends out of this whole process, and we couldn't thank them enough for what they have created for us.

  James was our builder from Buildup who completed 4 dwellings in a staged development in Caringbah South. During this process James always made himself available to discuss any concerns along the way and was happy to find a solution with any issues that were presented. I found James and his team easy to work with, the project was completed to a high standard and completed in realistic time frame. No issues recommending James and the team

  We are extremely happy with the renovation that James and his team recently completed. During the process, we required some extensive modifications to our back deck and some other work and James and the team were able to not only accommodate the changes to the original plans but provide helpful advice and recommendations. The team was punctual and courteous and completed all that was required. There were some challenges along the way but these were dealt with professionally and efficiently. This is the second time that we have engaged James and his team and we highly recommend Buildup Constructions. James is helpful, honest, adaptable and willing to provide constructive advice and tips as well as being easy to deal with. This is especially helpful for the non-building types. We would highly recommend James and his team if you are seeking to undertake a new build or a renovation. They won't let you down.

  We recently (late 2024) completed a knock-down rebuild in the Sutherland Shire. Through a tendering process, we chose James and his company, Buildup Constructions, because we were impressed by his detail on costs and friendly, open manner. Our architect had worked with James once before and was pleased to do so again. We are thrilled with the result. It is difficult to describe our experience without reiterating previous favourable observations, so perhaps I’ll just dot point salient comments. • James cares about his work, which means we didn’t have to worry about things going wrong • James is very consultative, explaining problems and identifying possible solutions clearly • He had a very good relationship with our architect (who was quite particular about detail,) which meant the construction went smoothly • James is honest and trustworthy, with a commitment to a quality product • He has excellent, skilled people working for him • His Buildup crew were respectful of neighbours, who were impressed by the work ethic and friendliness of everyone involved • The project was completed on time (taking a little under 12 months) and with minimal cost overrun At the end of the day, the question we’re frequently asked is – would you do it again? Because apparently most wouldn’t! Not that we want to, but given our positive experience of this project, our answer would be yes – and using Buildup Constructions.

  The most important decision to make when taking on a building project, is your choice of builder. After recently completing our first duplex development with Build Up Constructions, we can now say we got that decision 100% right! While we were going through the process of choosing a builder James provided us with all the information we required in a timely manner. He was open, honest and knowledgable and his price was very competitive. In the end we decided to go with James because we felt we could communicate best with him. Throughout the build the excellent communication continued and made for easy decision making and a successful outcome. We built post COVID and we expected there would be material supply issues and delays but that was not the case. I can’t recall any materials being delayed which is a credit to James and his organisational skills, along with the good relationship he must have with his suppliers. We had no shortage of external challenges during our build. It started with flooding rain which caused lengthy delays in getting out of the ground and ended with a 10th unexpected interest rate rise during our construction period. Thankfully we didn’t have to worry about the day to day running of the site or the quality of the workmanship, James and the team had it all under control. Build Up Constructions have an awesome team of tradesmen, their quality and attention to detail are excellent and they were always a pleasure to deal with. They made what was a stressful time an extremely enjoyable experience. And in the end they made up a lot of the time lost during the rain delays and delivered an exceptional build that we are very happy to call home. Our experience building with Build Up Constructions was extremely positive and we would highly recommend them. We will continue to refer our family and friends to James and if we are to build again we will definitely use Build Up Constructions.

  We highly recommend BuildUP Constructions and high standard of service they provide. We have just completed our new duplex and absolutely love it. The quality of the duplex is amazing. James and his team are great in communicating, listening and offering ideas and suggestions. Very professional and organised team to work with and easy the whole process from beginning to end. We could not be happier with the work & quality of services the team of BuildUp Constructions provided. The end result is better than expected. James and his team did an incredible job building our new duplex. Everything is perfect. We are really impressed. Would definitely choose them again! Tatiana & Dmitri
