  Recently, I required renovations to repair damage that had occurred to my property in Coffs Harbour. Following an investigation of local builders, i accepted the quotation tendered by Binet Constructions. From the initial contact, I was impressed by the builder's thoroughness and short time period in itemizing costs for the repairs commencing work. The work was completed as promised and no additional work was required. It has been a pleasure to associate with the company during the repairs period. In particular I appreciated the constant and timely flow of information regarding the progress of the work. The workers were professional and courteous and I also enjoyed the friendly and experienced interactions who responded to any questions I raised.   It is often very difficult to find willing builders/tradespeople to take the time and effort to assist in repairs/maintenance works on Strata buildings. As Licensee/Principal of Jetty Strata Management, I have often drawn on the knowledge of Murray (Greg back in the day) and the Binet Construction team on behalf of our Owners Corporations in relation to how we should tackle certain strata projects. Murray has always taken the time to answer my 'questions without notice' regardless of whether they were likely to be considered for the project or not. For this I/we are extremely grateful. The flexibility to meet Strata Committee requests and attention to detail is also what makes working with Binet Constructions so satisfying. The professionalism, quality of workmanship and pride displayed in maintaining the family reputation of the 'Binet way' in building services is ever present at Binet Constructions.   Binet Constructions has carried out remedial work on our building over the last couple of years during the stressful time of Covid-19 restrictions and extremely adverse weather conditions. Our Strata Committee has always used local tradespersons for maintenance work and Murray Binet, being a 3rd generation local builder and with considerable experience, was an obvious choice to carry out the complex work required on our building. After extensive investigation of the problems we had, and consultation with other professionals, Murray came up with a solution and quotation that we were happy to proceed with. Murray and his staff were highly professional and competent and at all times very considerate and respectful of the residents of the building. They were mindful of adhering to the Covid restrictions applicable to a large multi-storey building, complied with all WH&S practices and ensured all the subcontractors used were of the same high standard. Murray is a very personable young man, well qualified and experienced in all areas of building, was always approachable by the SC and spent time explaining each aspect of the building works in layman’s language.
