I have now been in my granny flat for 4months and I am as impressed now as I was with the whole process. The whole team were absolutely fabulous and all questions were always answered with patience and support. Every person that I interacted with over the 12 month building period were extremely supportive even with the unavoidable issues that did pop up. A great experience for my first granny flat build with Five star builders. Communication and end to end process was seamless. One of our friends introduced Anthony to us. Five Star builders completed a Granny Flat for us and they did an excellent job. My real estate agent was very impressed with the quality of work. Both Anthony and Sarkis are very professional in their dealings. We never had an argument or disagreement during the whole process. I have to thank their admin staff they are super polite and very efficient. I will consider Five Star builders 1st for any of my future projects. Thank you Five Star

Summary : Beautiful quality granny flat but slow build and poor communication. I recently built a granny flat with them and here is the pros and cons from my experience. Pros : Straight forward pricing, quality materials, great standard plans available to choose from, wide selection of options. They know what they are doing and need minimum inspection from us (still good to do ourselves). Cons : I was told it will take 3-4 months but took ~7 months for me. Considering we keep paying the mortgage interest for those months, it's a financial loss for the customer. Communication was the worst : Windows and doors being delivered and left outside (without informing me un advance) even before the building base is built. I had to buy sheets to protect them from weather. Multiple instances of plumbers cutting off the water supply without informing us, once when I was in shower. Final deep cleanaing before 100% work is complete, leaving another round of cleaning for us. Tradies leaving irreversible marks on the benchtop, by dragging their tools on it without protector sheet. Exceptional names : Nick, the builder's assistant and Tony from admin team were of immense help with their prompt responses and actions. Nick has such a pleasing personality and responsibility, which is not a common trait among tradie and builders. Tony, with whom I interacted only via emails, I was alwys certain that I will get the response in a matter of minutes. Without them, my rating would have been 3 star instead

Working with 5 Star Builders was a wonderful experience. They were honest and professional. Both Anthony and Sarkis kept in constant communication with us, kept to a tight timeline, and paid great attention to all the small details.
