I noted some structural movement to our 2 storey, double brick home over the last few years, which had now resulted in causing significant concerns. I engaged a Structural Engineer whom I've had professional dealings with via my career for well over 15 years to inspect and advise what remedial repairs are now required to reinstate our home. When the Structural Engineer assessed our needs and prepared his scope of works, he recommended Joe of Pinnacle Masonry Melbourne. I felt assured I was going to have the right contractor. Joe attended our home to inspect and provide his quotation in accordance with the Engineer's scope of works. Following receipt of Joe's quotation, we commissioned Joe to commence the works in due course. The repair works involved were tricky and time consuming - which I knew from my own knowledge as well the advice received beforehand from the Engineer. Joe has now completed all works, and needless to say, the home looks great, and above all, the works have been completed in strict accordance with the Engineer's scope of works. Over the weeks, at all times Joe kept me fully informed and up to date on the progress of the works being undertaken. Joe was always punctual, very friendly and polite, mindful of our safety, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. I am grateful for having Joe undertake the remedial repairs to our home, and give thanks for the professional, workmanlike manner he discharged his duties with. Infact I will go on to further say, not only are we actually going to miss him, but would have no hesitation in having Joe undertake any further work should the need ever arise. I pulled the mantlepiece off of our open fire and found a chimney with no lintel, broken and missing bricks and holes through to the chimney cavity! Joe came out within a few days and rebuilt the lower part of the chimney & put in a lintel. He also cut a cavity out of the back of the chimney to accommodate a new wood heater we are getting installed. Joe was professional, courteous and amazingly cleaned up after himself. Had the pleasure of meeting Joe, the front man to Pinnacle Masonry. He went head over heels to get an urgent job done for me, fast to respond and answered any questions i threw at him. Joe was up for a good yarn but when it got down to business, he was all class. Over the moon with how the job turned out and amazed that they produced such great work for a good price. We had Joe re-brick a couple of large holes in the side of our house after we removed some old aircons. The finiahed product is exceptional! It's impossible to tell where the repair was done because of Joe's attention to detail. He communicated well, arrived on time and provided a fair price. Highly recommended.
