Grant and his team Frank and Pat recently installed an awning at our home on the second floor outdoor patio. The quality of work they carried out was excellent, they under promised and over delivered. The timeframe they gave us was spot on. Grant followed up after the job was installed to ensure we were happy. His care factor is genuine. Good old customer service lives well in the Sutherland Shire. I would highly recommend Grant and his team at Awesome Awnings to anyone.

We recently had our awning at our business recovered with Awesome Awnings. Grant was amazing. He was prompt, easy to communicate with and even corresponded with a sign writer on my behalf to have signage done at his factory. The awning was taken down and replaced within 2 weeks and looks amazing!! Would highly recommend his work to anyone. Thanks again!

Frequently asked questions

How much do awning installers typically charge?

Costs vary widely depending on the job. Simple repairs or manual awning installations are typically much less than fixed, engineered replacements or large multi-awning jobs; motorisation and after-hours attendance usually increase the total. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, an hourly labour rate and materials, with structural or compliance work adding to the scope. Live pricing for your area and the specific job type is shown on this page.

Do awning installers charge call-out fees?

Many awning installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. After-hours or emergency attendance is often billed at a higher rate. It's worth confirming the call-out and after-hours policy when requesting quotes.

When do awning installers need a licence?

Installers will often need contractor or builder registration/licence for fixed or structural awnings and for work that requires documented engineering or wind-rating compliance. Motorisation or any work involving electrical alterations may also trigger additional permit or licensed-trade requirements. Requirements vary by state and local council, so check with your local building authority to confirm whether registration or a licensed contractor is required.
