I used LTM Trees and I could not be more impressed. Luke's knowledge of trees is excellent and the crew were so friendly and helpful. My job went over 4 days and every afternoon when I got home from work my yard was so clean and tidy. There was no damage at all to my lawn. I thoroughly recommend this business.

Luke did a fantastic job, was very condsiderate, professional and cleaned up the mess on ground after the lopping (We have never experienced this with several other tree loppers we have had in Cairns!) Luke and Terese are so lovely and understanding of the anxiety my partner had about trees falling. Luke explained a lot about trees and seemed to do a thorough inspection of trees before lopping. Will definately get them back again when needed and highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks Luke & Terese

Luke and Teresa run a fantastic business from point of contact, execution of the job to clean up. I have nothing but praise for the whole experience. Luke quickly and efficiently cut down the troublesome pandanus that I had and took it away. He was professional, efficient and competent, qualities you want for a successful job. Thank you.

Frequently asked questions

How much do arborists typically charge?

Arborist costs vary widely depending on the type and scale of work. Factors such as tree size and species, site access, whether removal and stump grinding are needed, required equipment and disposal all affect the total. Most quotes separate a call-out component from labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency jobs generally attract higher rates. The live pricing on this page shows current estimates for different job types.

Do arborists charge call-out fees?

Many arborists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. That fee typically covers travel and the initial site inspection, and smaller or remote jobs may be subject to a minimum charge. It's worth confirming whether a call-out fee is included in any quote you receive.

When do arborists need a licence?

Arborists often need registration or specific contractor credentials for higher-risk, large-scale or regulated tree work. Where the scope overlaps with regulated building or contractor work, providers should hold a valid state contractor or builder credential and comply with local council permit requirements for protected trees. For higher‑risk tasks, look for evidence of public liability insurance, documented work-at-heights controls and SWMS.

How do I get a quote from LTM Trees?

LTM Trees lists phone, email, or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
