We recently used Aaron from Assurance trees to do a report on an existing gumtree on our lot. He was thorough with his report and communicated by phone and then sent emails updating us throughout the process. We were also pleasantly surprised just how quickly he sent though a quote, then got onto the job after confirmation to go ahead. We will definitely be using you again if ever needed and will be recommending to others. Thank you!

Assurance Trees have completed tree removal and provided advice for me on my property a number of times over the past 10 years. They have been superb - extremely professional, reliable, and efficient - I have complete confidence in Aaron and his team. I could not recommend Assurance more highly.

Aaron was quick to provide a quote, the quote was not the cheapest but we decided to accept it as we were reassured by Aaron's professionalism. Aside from a false start - on the day we had decided to do the job on a earlier job had run longer than planned so had to rebook another day - we are glad we went with Assurance Tree Solutions and will happily do so again. Highly recommended this company.

I would highly recommend ATS, professional team with emphasis on safety. The best part is that they turn up to do the job when they say they will, and keep the customer informed of exactly what is happening.

An excellent company to work with! ATS provides excellent tree services with great deal of emphasis on safety. Highly recommended.

Frequently asked questions

How much do arborists typically charge?
Arborist costs vary widely depending on the type and scale of work. Factors such as tree size and species, site access, whether removal and stump grinding are needed, required equipment and disposal all affect the total. Most quotes separate a call-out component from labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency jobs generally attract higher rates. The live pricing on this page shows current estimates for different job types.
Do arborists charge call-out fees?
Many arborists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. That fee typically covers travel and the initial site inspection, and smaller or remote jobs may be subject to a minimum charge. It's worth confirming whether a call-out fee is included in any quote you receive.
When do arborists need a licence?
Arborists often need registration or specific contractor credentials for higher-risk, large-scale or regulated tree work. Where the scope overlaps with regulated building or contractor work, providers should hold a valid state contractor or builder credential and comply with local council permit requirements for protected trees. For higher‑risk tasks, look for evidence of public liability insurance, documented work-at-heights controls and SWMS.
How do I get a quote from Assurance Trees?
