  Excellent service from this small, local business. My 20 year old Miele dishwasher stopped working on a Friday afternoon. I rang SMS Electronics and they offered a time on Saturday morning. Thirty minutes later, Steve (the repair tech), rang to say he could call round at 5pm that afternoon if that was convenient. Steve showed up, rapidly diagnosed the likely cause, and said he would be back next week with a replacement part. Wednesday next week Steve was back with the replacement part, rapidly fitted and tested it. Everything was done and neatly put back in 30 minutes. It is so nice to have work done by somebody really experienced who really knows what they are doing and cares about doing a good job. It's also nice to know that your payment is going to the people who do the work rather than half being creamed off for CEOs and managers who don't do the work and only care about profits. SMS Electronics are keepers. I've put them in my address book for any future appliance repairs.

  Steve was personally recommended by a local repair shop in Caulfield I can honestly say I now wouldn’t trust anyone else with our Miele appliances. After having official Miele repair technicians fail multiple times to identify and fix our dishwasher and dryer I was skeptical that our machines would run again. Steve’s expertise and skills went above and beyond what exists elsewhere and I’m really grateful that businesses like SMS Electronics still exist. They stand by their work and their prices are incredibly fair. Plus it’s nice to know we’re supporting a local family run business. Would definitely recommend their shop!

  Steve cleaned my clogged up Bosch "self-cleaning" condenser dryer (which Bosch said they don't do anymore). Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Will definitely use again when/if the need arises.
