Disclaimer, they did not repair / service my oven. However, I felt I needed to leave a review for honesty. My oven / cooktop is old, and the technician was honest about the cost to repair vs replace, and suggested a replacement. Many places would have come anyway and not provided this input. Highly recommend based on their honesty.

The technician did a fantastic job fixing my Ilvie oven. Fixed multiple problems with my stove in an efficient timeframe. He even gave me tips on the proper use and features of my oven. It has saved me over the Christmas period. Highly recommend, and has made my day!

Can’t speak highly enough of the technician that came to my home today. Super polite, gave a 3 hour window but called me half an hour before arriving. Highly skilled, very quick and only charged me the minimum call out fee when he had to deliver bad news and tell me I needed a new dryer. Would recommend or use again.

I contacted Local Appliance Repairs regarding a faulty thermostat in my oven. The phone was answered promptly and I was offered a technician appointment for two days time. Their pricing structure was very transparent, explained clearly both on the phone and on their website. The technician was punctual, courteous and efficient. This was at the height of the coronavirus restrictions and he took all the recommended precautions - wearing a mask and sanitising his hands as soon as he entered the house. It was an excellent service.

After reading the excellent reviews here, I decided to call Local Appliance Repairs to help to repair my electric wall oven which would not turn on. We received a SMS the night before the appointment. They also called 20 minutes before arrival. The Technician was very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. It did not take him long to find out the problem and he fixed it right away. It was not only excellent service but he also charged very reasonable price. So pleased to have the technician arrive on time and do a stellar job. Technician knows Ilve ovens and was able to diagnose the problem with 30 mins of pulling out the oven. He was very polite, professional and experienced. The company was responsive and I was so pleased to have had a tech out so soon after I placed the call.
