    Peter was fantastic. After living with a broken oven for 5 years I couldn't believe how quick and easy Peter repaired it. Wished I called him alot earlier! The element was broken and Peter had the spare part handy, replacing the part, then making sure the oven was working correctly. He knows his stuff and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with.     ACT Appliance Repairs was very helpful in fixing our Omega dishwasher (ODW702WB) which was overflowing with water even when turned off. ACT Appliance Repairs quickly identified the issue and ordered the parts needed for the repair. We initially thought we would need to buy a new dishwasher, but thanks to ACT Appliance Repairs’ expertise, we were able to save our appliance instead. It’s been just over a month since the repair, and our Omega dishwasher is still working perfectly. Thanks Peter for the great work and excellent customer service and happy 2026!

    I can’t recommend Peter enough. He knows what he’s doing, efficient, cleans up after jobs and is lovely to interact with. He is also mindful of pets eg. Doesn’t leave the front door open.

    My oven was turning itself off in the middle of cooking pizza or bread, sometimes when we had friends for dinner. It was a good oven so I didn’t want to buy a new one. Peter thought the overheating thermostat, that makes sure the stove does not get too hot, was faulty. He got a new one for me which worked a treat. I am so pleased I have found Peter. He came quickly after I called him, was pleasant to deal with and not expensive.
