We have used YVS for both of our solar installations. The first install was an off-grid system with some very specific parameters. Tim investigated our needs and how the system could meet our needs, which it did 110%!! We were extremely happy with the system. Moving house, we recently had the team install panels and again are happy with the service - prompt, efficient service with a smile. The team worked seamlessly, keeping us updated and were very clean - not leaving a mark that they had been here. All paperwork for our connection was provided with clear instructions for next steps. Have recommended YVS to others interested in solar and will be using when we move to battery storage.

Yass Valley Solar installed and configured 10kw of solar + 2 powerwalls, integrating it with our existing solar system. They were quick and efficient, explained how to use the app and followed up to make sure all was good. It is. Since installation we have not sucked an erg from the grid. Happy days.

We recently had a bore dug and the other contractor always had always an excuse why he couldn't help us out. So I gave Tim a call and he was not only able to give me a quote the next day at short notice, but was also able to fit the pump and solar system within two weeks. Two years ago we started a build south of Canberra towards the snowy mountains. While we had always wanted to live off grid, the property we had bought had lines running over it, so initially it made sense to discuss grid connection and ease our moral concerns with the purchasing of renewable energy, possibly offset by a small number of grid connected panels. That of course was a short lived idea when the general quote for grid connection came back at roughly $45,000! Enter Tim. We had met Time at the Murrumbateman Field Days around a year earlier. Tim had proven to be a fountain of knowledge, was personable and keen to please. His set-up at the show was small but looked professional and well built, and the components that he used were quality sourced, not cheap Chinese components. We asked him for a quote based on our in-town power usage, coupled with the extra running costs of sceptic and water pumps, with the provision for expansion once our young family turns into a family with teenagers! His quote was cheaper than the grid connection! Construction didn't being straight away, and Tim was patient and always receptive to my calls on clarification and re quoting as we sorted through our finance. When installation was coming up, he was flexible and didn't sweat delays in the shed construction that would house the system as well as being the structure for the PV array. On construction he and his team came out over a two day period and had the system up and ready to run, done safely, efficiently and with very polite service! 2 years on and we have had one malfunction of a part, and as soon as Tim found out, he honoured his workmanship and parts guarantee, and to ensure we weren't without power in one part of our system (it was just the shed!), didn't have a problem at all with the onsite sparky (who found the fault) doing the work and sending him the invoice. The system has not failed other than that one small breaker failure. He has sized it up correctly, and we have no electricity bills (yes, the batteries will need replacing in the next 10 years, but for now, it is nice to pocket the money!). I would strongly recommend Tim and his team at Ygrene Energy - they are a small local outfit from Yass with great customer service and subject knowledge.
