I would like to give feedback for the roof repairs carried out by Mac and Amanda for Mac Roofing. I found their workmanship was outstanding. They completed the quote for my property in a very timely manner. They arrived when they said they would come and phoned ahead to check I was home. Work was carried out in an excellent and professional manner. They were always reachable by phone to check on when work was to be done. They gave advice on colour suggestions and options on what needed to be done. They were very well mannered at all times and extremely friendly. They completed all work in a timely manner. They even checked in after heavy rain to check all was well. They offered to return to fix anything if a problem had occurred. I would highly recommend Mac Roofing for their workmanship, professional and friendly manner. They even left paint so I could paint my gutters so the colours matched. A wonderful experience to have work done with good old fashion workmanship. Thank you. From Robyn East Maitland

Frequently asked questions

How much do roofers typically charge?

Roofing costs vary widely depending on the type of job, roof size, access, materials and whether after‑hours attendance is required. This page shows live pricing you can compare, and simple on-the-spot repairs are generally much less than whole-roof replacements or structural work.

Do roofers charge call-out fees?

Call-out fees are common to cover travel and the initial inspection, and are often listed separately from labour and materials. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts higher rates, so check whether those apply when requesting quotes.

Do roofers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Roofing work generally must be carried out by a licensed tradesperson in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is NSW Fair Trading. Look for a valid state contractor/building licence, a White Card, an ABN with active GST registration, and appropriate public liability insurance.

How do I get a quote from Mac Roofing?

Mac Roofing lists phone, email, or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
