Timms Roofing team worked on our home roof which has had frustrating leaks that other roof repairers have failed to completely stop. Steve Timms gave us a comprehensive quote that detailed just what needed attention. Each identified problem area was accompanied by a photo showing the problem. The cost of the job, as quoted, seemed in line with the time and effort that would be required. Steve's team, led by Keiran and Matt, were pleasant and professional. All of our questions were clearly answered. At the end of the job all rubbish and other materials were removed. Stephen G

I recently hired Tim's Roofing to fix my leaky roof. They weren't hard to get in touch with and were prompt in coming to assess the work and provide a quote. After approving the quote, I didn't have to wait long for the work to be done. Keiran and Matt were polite, efficient and tidied up after themselves. I'm happy with how it all went and recommend them with confidence.

Frequently asked questions

How much do roofers typically charge?

Roofing costs vary widely depending on the type of job, roof size, access, materials and whether after‑hours attendance is required. This page shows live pricing you can compare, and simple on-the-spot repairs are generally much less than whole-roof replacements or structural work.

Do roofers charge call-out fees?

Call-out fees are common to cover travel and the initial inspection, and are often listed separately from labour and materials. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts higher rates, so check whether those apply when requesting quotes.

Do roofers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Roofing work generally must be carried out by a licensed tradesperson in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is NSW Fair Trading. Look for a valid state contractor/building licence, a White Card, an ABN with active GST registration, and appropriate public liability insurance.

How do I get a quote from Timms Roofing?
