  I highly recommend Downsizing with Care to anyone who needs assistance with any sort of decluttering, downsizing and dealing with clearing possessions following the passing of a loved one. Melissa and her team took the heartache and worry out of clearing out my elderly cousins home. It was not only the professionalism and incredible organisation skills of her team, it was also their gentle care of my mother who was grieving the loss of her dearest cousin. With much care and respect the team guided us through what otherwise would have been an overwhelming task. Thank you for your wonderful service!

  My Sister, my husband and I were very happy with the thorough effort Melissa and her team put into clearing out our Dads home of the last 27 years. The process was smooth and coordinated right from my first meeting with Melissa at the house. The communication was great. Melissa was always prompt to answer calls and emails. My request at the beginning was that anything which could be repurposed or sold/auctioned, was, and as little as possible was to go to landfill. The main thing for us was that the emotion was taken out of a huge task. What took Downsizing with Care a few weeks to complete would have taken my family and I at least a year! We highly recommend Melissa and her team and would not hesitate to use them again.

On each occasion they turn up on time, they are organised and show so much respect for not only us but our home, our belongings but also our feelings. Despite the timeframes we never felt rushed or overwhelmed, to the contrary they made us feel relaxed about the process and helped us through it.   I can not recommend the downsizing with care team enough. In my initial meeting with Melissa I was highly anxious, but she continually reassured me and made me feel at ease. The team have let me go at my own pace and what feels comfortable to me. We still have a way to go before we’re finished, but for the first time in years I have been comfortable inviting people over, everything is beginning to have a permanent home so I know exactly where everything is and where to put it when I’m done and I enjoy being at home again. Downsizing with care haven’t just helped me declutter and organise, but given me my home back and my regular team member feels like part of the family now.
