I first met and worked with Dean and Dave on one of my clients projects where we were contracted to build a deck around their new pool. I was impressed with the final product and the streamlined process. It ran so smoothly we decided to get a quote for our own pool. We’ve just recently had this completed and the final product is everything we expected and more. Performance will be building 4 more pools for us over various projects throughout the rest of the year and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is in the market for a custom concrete pool.

Dean & his team won the award for the most professional & reliable contractor in the construction industry in our eyes, hands down. We were building a new house (with another builder) and had to coordinate the pool build around two dozen other activities. Dean & his team turned up when they said they would, completed all tasks on time, even when the timeframe was tight and the weather was not favourable (eg they completed the pool shell in 3 days when it was raining throughout – our neighbour was building a pool with another builder and it took them months to get the shell done!). With other contractors I always had to follow up to ensure they turned up etc – not Dean, he’s always on the ball and ahead of the game. Great attention to detail – we had a water bowl feature and Dean suggested some changes to make it look more aesthetic, even though it meant extra work for his team (but no extra cost for us!). He’s also happy to take calls and discuss pool chemicals balance etc post handover. Competitive pricing too (we had 2 other quotes, both of which took ages to turn up and had to be followed up – Dean turned around a quote for us in a day!). We’ve already recommended him to a few friends – you can’t go wrong with Performance Pools!

The guys at Performance Pool and Spa are the best and most professional building related company I have ever dealt with. It is the first time I have had a pool built (have built houses multiple times), but I would not hesitate to recommend them. The process was easy, they did exactly what they said, it was a top quality job, very neat and tidy with the site and have been very quick and easy to deal with with any post job minor things that came up. Ben and the team from Performance Pool and Spa have delivered me a pool and a customer service experience that has exceeded our expectations. From the initial design brief to the communication through the build and the answering of many, many questions the customer service is outstanding. PPS turned the vision we had for our pool into reality. A pool is a huge financial investment - along with that comes an element of risk. I spent countless hours researching and waiting for other pool builders who either didn't turn up or didn't want to listen. Do yourself a favor and use PPS. Absolute standout professionals.
